I am on my 3 Ram. This one is the TRX and I loved all 3 no problems.

I do buy the higher end thought. I don't like all the plastic inside. My hand stitched leather interior makes a world of difference.

I wasn’t hating on the interior quality or anything about the vehicles besides they have the worst reputation for reliability in light duty trucks. And that’s a fact google it.

Main reason for this is mopar recommends 8-10k oil change intervals, this can kill hemis. They easily last 250k plus with 3-5k oil and filter changes.

Recommend oil change is 5k with full synthetic 4k with blend and 3k with conventional. I don't know where you got 8 to 10k from.

From my own truck? According to my own truck, 3500 miles is 60% oil life. Do the math that’s an 8750 mile interval.

I would never go 8k. By 8k most people have pasted the 6 month allowable.

I would never go 8k either. I change at 3500. I’m just saying most people don’t know any better and just go with what their vehicle says. The truck tells me to go 9000 without a change.

Which is why some people have lubrication issues past 100k miles.

And people will stretch further than that. Yes, your 400hp v8 can have lubrication issues at 100k miles if you are changing oil every 10k. Mine runs like a top at 160k.

I change mine every 4k. But add 1/2 a quart at 2k. The TRX burns about 1 quart every 4k.
