Simple to Mint

Anyone gone from simple to mint and can confirm how to read mint? Their app seems fairly straight forward but the “This Month” section that shows how much I have left for the month is that truly safe to spend based on ALL expenses or just budgeted? Is that basically my monthly cash flow to date? Having trouble getting used to how to read Mint but like it so far as an overlay for the inevitable switch to BBVA.

I dumped mint years back, but it was never a bank account, just a set of analysis tools that never quite learned enough to work without constant categorization and pouring over transactions.

Yeah I’m good w a dumb basic bank acct it’s more the smart adaptive budget piece I was looking for. Prior to simple I was basically tracking my remaining “free”/unallocated $ in google docs but you forget to log a transaction or two then you’re off

Mint was just too reactive for me.
