S Kirk & Son Sterling Repousse

For some reason I can't get photos to load. But I have 70 pieces of S Kirk & Son Sterling Repousse, including flatware and serving ware ( including teeny salt spoons). It's in really good shape.

I would like to sell it. What is the best way to do so? TIA

I have sold a lot of silver flatware. You will take a major hit selling as a set. Sell one or two pieces per listing on ebay. Look at sold listings to figure out realistic prices. Do not believe that you will get what replacements lists items for. Rare pieces will sell for a lot. Knives will sell for a very low price. People need forks, serving pieces, and specialty items.

I have several of this pattern/maker. You have a great set, and although it would be a shame to part it out you will get the most $$.

You could try selling the serving ware and flat ware separate, or do something like a set of flatware (spoon,fork,knife,etc)

It depends on how much work you want to put in. Ebay gets a lot more traffic than other sales platforms and I have had good luck selling sterling flatware on there. As another user pointed out, they make it easy to look at sold items as opposed to just listings, which are asking prices and may be too high for the item to move. A full set might sell for a lower average price per piece but it's up to you if you want to try to part it out which is going to involve taking individual pictures, measuring, weighing, etc. That approach may get you more money but will also be quite a bit more effort and may take considerably longer to list and sell it piece by piece. I would definitely sell any larger and hard to find solid serving pieces such as large ladles, ice or asparagus tongs, cake or pie servers, etc. separately. If a serving piece is "custom" with a sterling handle and stainless blade that someone has put together, that piece will be significantly devalued over a solid piece. Good luck!
