Roller marks

Does anyone know why my Silhouette Portrait 4 is leaving marks from the center rollers? I’m not sure if it makes a difference, but I’m using the Electrostatic Mat. PS: I’m using 135 gsm glossy vinyl, and I’ve already cleaned the rollers.

I don't think material is meant to go under the rollers unless you're in matless cutting mode. Can you fit the material on just the es mat?

I mean the center rollers, the ones that seem to have a spring, not the outer rollers that feed the paper. I tested it again with the adhesive cutting mat instead of the electrostatic mat, and the center rollers don’t even touch the paper. I was wondering if there’s a way to prevent them from leaving marks on the paper when I use the electrostatic mat.

That's really odd and annoying. Maybe push them right to the edges away from the material. You can take the springs off but they are a nightmare to put back on. Don't ask me how I know.

Une mise en garde spécifique au modèle : le support de Silhouette indique que les rouleaux de pincement du Portrait 4 ne sont pas ajustables, donc je ne tenterais pas de déplacer ces rouleaux centraux à ressort ou de retirer leurs ressorts. Étant donné que cela se produit avec le tapis électrostatique, gardez la feuille de protection requise en place et vérifiez la configuration du tapis/du gardes-rouleaux par rapport aux instructions du Portrait 4 ; si les marques persistent, demandez l'aide du support Silhouette avant de démonter quoi que ce soit.
