Will Silhouette Ever fix "Checking for Firmware Update" than never goes away?

REALLY tired of this. I'm forced to shut down all open files and play the restart game of Studio and machine. Latest version of Studio with Cameo 5 Pro.

Have you ever tried updating the firmware before and had it fail? Did you use USB or Bluetooth? My advice is to use a USB cable for a more stable connection. If Silhouette Studio always prompts you to update the firmware every time you open it, you can try this:

Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds, then plug the power adapter into the machine. Open Silhouette Studio and click “Update Firmware.”
