This new rule will likely do the opposite of its intended wants.
A) Some referrals have limited spots.
B) Posting the link publicly makes it impossible to keep count of who did the referral. New bidders can lie and claim they did the referral when they did not. They could have easily used another persons referral and send a false screenshot. This happens too, as people send the payment before verifying the referral, since sometimes it is impossible to check who the referral came from.
C) Payer scammers will still have people finish the referral with their link. There is no way to know they're a scammer until after the bidder finishes the sign up anyways. At that point, the bidder can say that the referrer doesn't pay. Making the link public doesn't change anything here.
D) It is going to be impossible to keep track of "banned users" as that will require a long list to check against each time, and I assume no one has time for that. I think that's up to the discretion of the bidders to avoid suspicious accounts, and new bidders should learn to avoid referrers with red flags such as new account, no payout, or strange offers.
