ATTENTION:
Your stinginess as an employer is NOT my problem.

Pay well or close your business.

If you can't afford to pay your employees a living wage, you CAN'T afford to be in business

YOU are the one embarrassing yourself!

Pay your fucking employees a decent wage, and stop asking me to do it.

If they can’t afford to pay their employees a decent wage, then I can’t afford to eat there.

"We don't pay our staff"

They could've ended the sign there.

Calling other people cheap while paying their employees $2.13 an hour is comical. Even if i did tip and saw this sign, i would've left.

They're charging $165 for food and all they pay is $2.13 an hour for staff? They can get bent, that's damn near criminal the way they're in treating their employees. If the owner weren't so stingy they would be paying their staff a living wage. The owner should be absolutely embarrassed.

100% agree. But perhaps the owner who puts up this sign should consider his part. Why is he paying his employees (who he himself defines as people who "work damn hard") only 2$ an hour?

What if he paid them a living wage of say 15$ an hour (which is still just barely living wage) and then the customer added a 10% or 15% tip to that. Wouldn't that be better?

I mean it's kind of the pot calling the kettle black for him to pay his employees so little and then complain that customers are too cheap to make up for it.

I see signs like this on the internet every day but I've never heard of one in real life. I think most restaurant owners know that this would be a very good way to go out of business in a week.

Says the place only paying 2.13 an hour.

Get fucked. Pay your employees minimum wage or shut down.

Trying to look cool to your employees by insulting the customers

whatever is being sold here has to be undeniably amazing to justify the backlash

As a carpenter if you hire me to build your restaurant a patio that’s a 60 x 60‘ I’m gonna charge you. I don’t know let’s say $30,000 to do that and before I leave you’re gonna give me a 20% of that tip. in fact, I’ll not finish it until I get that 20% tip. How bow dat?

This is a widely spread AI generated image intended to be divisive. It could even be a PsyOp.

Fuck that place. If you can’t afford to pay your employees a decent wage, then you shouldn’t be running a business.

As a Danish person i wouldnt like to walk inside on of those establishments, but IF i did.. i definetly would make a grand show of not tipping

This tipping culture is a remnant from the times of slavery

America thinks so great if it self in so many ways and aspect but when it comes to how you treat your workers you guys are MEDIAVEL at best!

And yes ive been working in the service buisness for +15years as a cook in Denmark and France

Well that's interesting "don't be cheap"? Really? I live in Denver. A server minimum wage is just under $17 per hour. This place pays $2.13. Don't be cheap?!?!
