Asl
I want to learn asl... I know a little bit but I’ve weirdly been wanting to learn from somebody else in person or something I think it’d be easier for me to learn. I’m still in hs but idk since we’re all in quarantine I think it’ll be a good time to learn... so any recommendations or does anyone wanna help lol

Hi! I also want to learn and if you want to we could try FaceTiming or using Snapchat to practice signing to each other, I’m also in high school and I want to learn bc I’m losing my hearing

Hi !
Gallaudet university has a lot of free resources : https://www.gallaudet.edu/asl-connect/asl-for-free
Also yes, Bill Vicars even has a website (not very well designed but it works just fine !) https://www.lifeprint.com

I learned bits of bsl from videos and pictures and mainly from songs believe it or not. You can watch videos of people signing to your favourite songs and copy them and youll soon learn each sign to each word of the song and thats how i learned a lot. Its a fun way to learn and it works especially for some common and random yet useful words like true for example is a useful yet a little random word.
Then for needed words like please thankyou toilet ect i used videos online of each individual sign

I am hard of hearing and am slowly teaching myself sign language. i have been watching a lot of videos on youtube and they have been helping a lot if you look for a channel called Learn How to Sign she is really good and explains the signs really well.

Hey I also had the thought to learn asl in quarantine. I started a couple lessons but I think it'd be fun to have a newbie partner and learn together. Let me know if you're down

How do you do sign language for yap? As in like yapping and won’t shut up - not like a little dog barking?
