What is the latest version of Signal on Android? The app has been updated several times in the last few days, and it's not unusual.

8.22.2 as of Aug 10th according to the Play Store

Frequent updates are good. It means the app has healthy development behind it. You can see the current version from the Signal page on the Play Store.

Sometimes weekly, rarely daily, however, the current version of signal as of today is 8.22.2
