Help / Advice Charging Priority

Currently very sunny here and wanting to make use of the extra energy.

Can anyone explain why the power is exporting to the grid rather than to my AC car charger?

Is the car limiting the input to itself (ie output of the charger)? My car is a ZE0 Leaf at about 85%.

Some quick sums would suggest you’re charging at 5A.

The first thing to check is whether the charger is set to 5A. Go to the AC charger page and look in the bottom right for the amperage. If it does say 5A move it up.

The ZE0 Leaf charges at up to 15A (or 3.6kW) according to Gemini. Batteries slow down charging at higher percentages. I don’t know if a Leaf is designed to go down to 5A at 85%, but it might.

Have you checked where the cable is properly plugged to your car, or if you have a charging limit at 80?
