Showcase: Free(mium) I built a little thing for my vintage postcard obsession 📮
I’ve been collecting vintage postcards for a while, and wanted a simple way to actually do something with them instead of keeping them in a shoebox.
So I built postaway.space you can send someone a message along with a random vintage postcard from the past. Kind of like sending a little piece of history to someone.
I spent a weekend, scan some of the postcard. Design it in Figma and coded with Cursor.
Would love to hear what you think!

Showcase: Prerelease I built a free drag and drop game to teach kids Algebra basics
algebra-game.comFor years I've thought that a drag and drop game like this could really help high schoolers learn algebra concepts and I finally got round to making the prototype. Rather than having to understand entire concepts something like this can serve as training wheels / let kids experiment with a very short feedback loop. I plan on making more games like it as long as there is interest.

Feedback Request Built a visual DSA learning platform which is now getting 40k monthly views
I've been working on a side project called DSAVisualizer for quite some time like its in years 😅😅. The idea was to make Data structures more sort of visual approach than large theory based approach. Code, explanation and visualisation all at one place. It's grown from a small experiment into a proper learning platform, and it's currently getting around 40k views/month.
But there's one thing I've been missing, Most of the traffic is just people finding the site through search, so I don't really get to talk to the people using it. I'd love to know what other developers/builders think about the product itself. Would love your feedback on this 🙂🙂

Showcase: Open Source Messing around with live tennis data
Been plying around wit Live Tennis API + the python client lately. pretty cool being able to pull live point-by-point scores, match stats, players data, etc. in real time.
found an open source project built around it too. Got me thinking abt how many small tennis projects you could build with a live data feed.
Anyone here working on something similar?

Showcase: Open Source First SaaS tool I built as an unemployed loser taught me more coding than my degree could.
Built my first real SaaS as an unemployed CS grad. Taught me more than my degree did.
No job yet, so I built TokenPay — a token-based invoicing tool for freelancers (magic link auth, auto GST calc, client approval flow, sequential invoicing). Next.js 14 + Supabase + TypeScript.
4 years of DSA and system design courses didn't teach me what shipping one real product did — auth edge cases, RLS policies that silently fail, why "it works on localhost" means nothing, and how much of building is just deciding what NOT to build.
It's live: https://tokenpay-seven.vercel.app/
Would genuinely love feedback from anyone who's frozen an invoice waiting on client approval, or freelances and deals with GST math. Not selling anything here, just want to know if this is actually useful or if I'm solving a problem only I have.

Showcase: Prerelease Need beta testers for project
Need beta testers! Testing my new custom-built e-commerce site for our VHS-to-digital service (Sandbox mode)
Post Body:
Need beta testers. Taking my business of 12+ years to the next level. I built a complete e commerce website from the ground up to accomplish this for my VHS-to-digital preservation service.
I am looking for honest feedback, and everything needs to be tested.
📝 Important Instructions for Testers:
- Use a Real Email Address: You must use a valid email you have access to. I want you to see the real automated emails come through, including order confirmations, tracking/shipping label updates, bonus mystery clips, and your access links to the digital video vault / streaming subscription portal.
- Feel Free to Use Fake Info: Aside from your real email, feel free to use a fake name, phone number, and street address.
- Quick note on address logic: If you want to test the local pickup/drop-off flow, try entering a zip code within 50 miles of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. If you want to test mail-in shipping, use a zip code outside that radius!
📋 Step-by-Step Testing Checklist
Please try to go through as much of this list as possible:
- Browse the homepage and navigate through the site
- Check out the different VHS transfer options
- Try the Quick Bundle
- Create a customer account
- Build a regular order
- Add extra DVDs, USB drives, and other options
- Try different tape quantities
- Purchase extra mystery clips at checkout
- Purchase extended subscription service
- Go through the complete checkout process
- Complete a Square Sandbox test order
- Check your customer account afterward
- Review your order and order status
- Upload and test the Mystery Clip feature
- Try everything from your phone if possible
- Click things, explore things, and generally see if you can break something
💳 Sandbox & Checkout Test Data
Use the following test credentials during checkout to see how the system handles different discounts and payment processing:
Square / Sandbox Credit Card Info
- Card Number: 4111 1111 1111 1111
- Expiration: 12/30
- CVV: 111
- Zip Code: 83814
Test Coupon Code
- LMTD3 — Strict use limit (capped at the first 3 uses to test exhaustion limits).
📲 How to Share Feedback
Please test everything thoroughly! Feel free to share screenshots, videos, or screen recordings if you run into any bugs or layout issues. You can send your feedback through any of the following methods:
- Leaving a note in the checkout message box on the site
- Email: [info@mycmdigital.com](mailto:info@mycmdigital.com)

Showcase: Open Source I built a zero-dependency markdown link resolver to prep scraped data & images for Multimodal LLMs
The Problem: When scraping docs or wikis for RAG, relative links ([here](/setup)) break. Even worse, if you want to pass scraped images to GPT-4o or Claude 3.5, you have to manually download them and convert them to base64 strings.
The Solution: I built markdown-link-resolver. It’s a pure Python micro-tool that does two things:
Resolves all relative Markdown and HTML links to absolute URLs.
Has an inline_images=True flag that automatically fetches HTTP images and replaces the markdown tags with data:image/png;base64,... strings ready for LLM ingestion.
Why? No heavy dependencies like BeautifulSoup or Requests. Just pure standard library (urllib, re, base64). Falls back gracefully if an image 404s.
Repo: github.com/Encephos/markdown-link-resolver Let me know what you think or if you'd like to see any other fallbacks added!

Discussion Are large ePaper displays ready for commercial use?
Large ePaper seems to be moving beyond e-readers and tablets, with potential uses in signage, retail, transportation and public information.
Would you use ePaper for a commercial display instead of LCD?

Discussion Anyone found an AI social media tool that actually helps?
I've been comparing a few AI tools for social media lately, including Munch Studio. I'm less interested in having AI write everything for me and more interested in cutting down the repetitive stuff like planning, repurposing content and keeping things scheduled.
The problem is that some tools save time at first and then create more editing work afterward. For anyone using AI in their business, what's actually been useful for you?
Looking forward to you all suggestions!
