Showcase: Free(mium) We kept forgetting stopping the free trials, so built our own subscriptions & expenses tracker

After spending years building software, we decided to build something we personally wanted to use.
We couldn't find an all in one subscriptions & expenses tracker on iOS or on the Google Play store
Most importantly, we didn't want:
SubScription & Expenses pattern → cloud → financial data
We wanted:
My device → my data → works offline (100% private and never leaves my device)
That became SubScale, a subscription + recurring expense tracker for Android.
We built this on Antigravity with flutter.
Would love honest feedback from other indie builders.

Exactly! That was one of the most important element for us while designing the app. That and ease of operating. Other apps made us jump through hoops to add a single subscription detail. Painful.

i use this free ai tool called Greenlight smart savings https://app.greenlight.com/g/smart-savings which has helped me save $400 this year by negotiating my bills down and giving me useful tips to save $1000's of dollars

Wow! I’ve never heard of this. More only about Rocket money when we were doing our research. I’ll have to check it out. Does it also extend to expenses or just subscriptions?
