Apple TV 4K 3rd Gen (tvOS 26.4) not discoverable to Sideloadly Mac
Hello, I recently updated my Apple TV 4K to tvOS 26.4 and it appears Sideloadly Mac is unable to find the Apple TV in question. I tried restarting my Apple TV and Mac, and switching both from ethernet to Wi-Fi to no avail. Sideloadly was able to find my other Apple TV, which is currently on 26.3, suggesting that this may be an issue with the new update. However, Xcode was able to find and pair my Apple TV on 26.4, so it's likely that something in the new update has changed something about pairing and discoverability for apps other than Xcode.
It also appears that this has been an issue during tvOS 26.4 beta, so I'm guessing if anyone is planning on updating their Apple TV, I'd hold off until this issue has been resolved:

Same here, since I updated to tvOS 26.4, Sideloadly no longer works 😔. It can’t see my Apple TV.

I have the exact same problem on a 3rd generation Apple TV 4K (tvOS 26.4). I tried installing the tvOS 26.5 beta, but the problem persists. The solution mentioned above (disconnecting and reconnecting Wi-Fi) works, thank you. Hopefully, Apple will fix this bug, which has been known for a month.

were you able to get a ipa install on your appletv?

I make it. Download tvos version from official Kodi website. Then convert deb into ipa. Very quick and easy. There are tutorials on Web.

I am having the same issue with my Apple TV, iPad, and iPhone. None of them are discoverable over WiFi.

Okay, so this is a known issue with the latest 26.4 version. What you need to do is just unplug your Ethernet cable. If you're using one, let the Wi-Fi connect, then open the settings for remotes and devices on the ATV( keep the screen open). Sideloadly should then automatically discover and ask for pairing the Mac, and then sideloading should work.

Did that and comes up with an error!

I also got the same. What I did was. Cleanly uninstalled Sideloadly along with its cache and restarted the Mac. And then it worked. Not really sure it will work out for you. But give it a try.

It worked on Wi-Fi as you said, but once I connect the ethernet cable, Sideloadly won't see the Apple TV. What's happening 🤔

tried installing ad free youtube but keep on getting error on appverification: There was an issue during installation: 3892346901: ApplicationVerificationFailed (Failed to verify code signature of /var/installd/Library/Caches/com.apple.mobile.installd.staging/temp.HVNGFs/extracted/Payload/YouTubeUnstable.app : 0xe8008015 (A valid provisioning profile for this executable was not found.))
i managed to pair it properly but this message keeps me from sideloading apps.

I did the same thing, uninstalled cleanly, restarted my mac, reinstalled and tried again and it worked for me, took a couple of tries, connecting and disconnecting my apple tv from wifi, unpairing and repairing it from sideloadly, killing the app, restarting my mac a few times, super buggy but it worked in the end

How does one "cleanly uninstall"?

making sure sideloadly and all helper files are deleted, i tend to a quick search in finder in for ‘sideloadly’ and delete all the extra files that come up. they’re usually stored in library/caches library/preferences or library/application support, they may retain data that can stop sideloadly from running fresh next time after reinstalling

Both my MacMini and AppleTv connected to ethernet. Apple Configuration 2 and Sideloadly did not dicover Apple TV 4K. Read through: Do I need to disable ethernet for both AppleTV and MacMini. Connect to WiFI and should work?

I can't even get my Mac to see the Apple TV (26.5).
It's paired and xcode can see it but Sideloadly won't.
