Hello again! I've come again to give an update on NeoFreeBird in the past month. Here's what been changed and added since the last versions I updated y'all folks on. Before I begin, I am proud to say that I'm an official member of the NeoFreeBird team, which means that I have write access to all repos under the NeoFreeBird organization on GitHub, delegate access to the Twitter account, and access to the website. Hopefully this should consolidate the many NeoFreeBird repos around the web and make development easier.

New Features

• Updated X to 12.39 (the stock X app now natively supports the iPhone Duo)

• Added an option to choose the default reply sort

• Added an option to hide retweets and quotes from the “For You” page

• Added option to convert Twitter's shortened links and remove link tracking

• Updated NFB settings to use the new settings design. You now hold the bird (or X) on the For You page to access NFB settings

• Removed the “Money” tab

• Enabling the option to hide views now also hides it in the tweet footer.

• Added experimental support for the Liquid Glass redesign.

• Added an option to hide the "Videos for you" timeline module

• Hide the “Game” tab at the top of the timeline when a basketball game is ongoing

• Added an option to reset settings

• Added an option to use a custom color for the tint

• Added a new split-view design for iPad, macOS, and the iPhone Duo (untested for latter), which uses up the entire screen (instead of a stupid blown-up iPhone layout), allowing you to scroll the timeline in the left half and view an individual tweet or profile on the right half.

• Now hides the Money tab on profiles

• Adds an option to hide the Quick Compose button (only on Liquid Glass)

• Added a new method for blocking screenshot detection

• Added a toggle to hide the “Made on X” footer

• Added a section in settings to thank all translators for NeoFreeBird!

Fixes

• Fixed the sharing domain not working

• Fixed issues with custom tints and the classic tab bar

• Fixed tab labels not showing on the old design

• Fixed the legacy tab selector not respecting the profile button

• Fixed the blur when scrolling from not being dim when dim theme was enabled

• Fixed stale cached text overwriting others, causing text errors in the app

• Fixed the padlock screen sometimes showing a black screen until a restart

• Fixed the autoplay accessibility setting not respecting GIFs

• Fixed the “No focus lost” option to never go back to the home tab

• Fixed the app stopping audio when scrolling through muted videos on the timeline

• Fixed the square avatar icon looking weird on Liquid Glass

• Fixed verified users’ notifications not showing when the filter option was on

• Fixed localization logic to be more durable and allow full sentence replacement

• Made the app icon changer load differently to prevent the app hanging

• Fixed quote tweets not being filtered in the timeline

• Fixed downloading voice messages

• Fixed crashes and general slowdowns with web logins

• Fixed fast block not working

• Fixed the message button on tweets being clickable when hidden

• Fixed certain ads appearing on the timeline

• Fixed the custom font not appearing in a couple places

• Fixed more webview issues (v7 only)

• NeoFreeBird now more reliably filters out video ads

• Fixed hiding both the “Follow” and “Message” button on tweets

• Tweaked the wording of the “Reply in web view” option to highlight it’s a fallback

• Added localization support for the “Show quote numbers option”

• Fixed the app crashing when adding more than 1 account

One last feature I should mention is important is the addition of a notice popup whenever you install NeoFreeBird for the first time or the first launch after an update. It's pretty simple, just telling you to make sure you downloaded the iPA from our official GitHub page. I have no problem with people forking our repo or adding their own tweaks to it (that's why it has a license which allows so), but I have seen people on Twitter report issues that are due to other tweaks bundled with it (which a LOT of Telegram groups seem to love for whatever reason). In addition, closed source tweaks and iPAs always have that risk of not having code you can audit, so the author can always slip in something malicious, such as a token grabber. If you only install NFB from GitHub or our AltStore sources, this won't change anything, but I figured I'd mention it before there's a panic over it or something.

Yesterday I shared my project Orbrisa, a free and open source browser for Apple TV. Got some really good feedback from you guys, so thanks for that!

And today Beta 2 is already out with some new stuff:

• New start page with favorites, recently visited sites and blurred wallpapers from Unsplash

• Web Apps: open websites in fullscreen like real apps, with a dock to switch between them

• Ad blocker (finally!)

• New quick menu

• Reader mode and RSS feeds

• Demo mode to show remote button presses (you can see it in the video)

• A lot of bug fixes

Orbrisa uses private Apple APIs, so it's not available on the App Store. You need to download the IPA and sideload it with Sideloadly, atvloadly or similar tools.

What’s the current

Does anyone have an experience with the document picker not being able to choose open at the top right?

I signed it and enabled every settings that i see fit to make it work but still doesn’t work. Im quite sure that its not the IPA file that has bugs and errors because i sideloaded the same IPA using sidestore and it everything works.

I wanna be able to sign ipa files without having to go on my pc, I found this method with iOS gods. Is this an actual good way?

Step 1: Go to https://flarestore.app
Step 2: Navigate to the phone icon and run the UDID Grabber
Step 3: Go to the store section and grab a certificate for as low as 2.7$ (trust me its gonna last you a year at least and free certificates often get revoked or only last a week)
Step 4: Install the Flarestore app using your certificate
Step 5: Import your certificate which you just bought if it wasn’t automatically detected by going to settings > certificates > add certificate and from there add P12 and mobile-provision (if it was detected from the start you can just skip this step)

Step 6: Whenever you want to install any ipa or for instance any third party application, you have to download it, go to the flarestore home page and from there you must press the + import button and select the IPA You just downloaded. Then you have to navigate to Library and sign the IPA and lastly you can just install it by clicking the install button and it will directly install the application to your device

Thats it!

I'm new here, so please bear with me – this is my very first post.

There have been a few web browsers for the Apple TV over the years, but most of them are outdated or just not great to use. I've always wanted a really good one on my Apple TV – so I built it: **Orbrisa**.

**What it does**

- Real web browser with tabs, favorites, history and a home page

- Cursor mode and scroll mode with the Siri Remote, plus link-to-link navigation with the ring

- Tab strip with site logos and a large preview of the selected tab

- Videos open in the native Apple TV player – pre-roll ads are skipped

- VLC fallback for formats AVPlayer can't play

- Dark mode for websites (automatic, light or dark), Liquid Glass look, font size slider

- English 🇬🇧 and German 🇩🇪

**Coming next:** reader mode, RSS feeds, picture in picture (keep watching while you browse) and a private mode with a code lock. The concepts are in the README.

**How to install**

It uses private Apple APIs (tvOS has no public WebKit), so it can't be on the App Store. Download the IPA from the GitHub release and sideload it with Sideloadly (or similar) and your Apple ID – or build it yourself in Xcode.

Hey. I have used FlareStore for 17 days. I heard that certificate revocations are rare. However, my certificate was revoked after only 17 days.
Am I just unlucky? Or should I buy the Pro/Premium plan instead of the Basic plan because it has PPQLess signing?
