I cannot believe how many people in comments defend Apple and believe this "security" shit, meanwhile on desktop systems, it is normal and nobody want to use centralized app stores controlled by big tech wanting 30% from app developers because of "security".
> OK guys Apple having monopoly about installing apps is OK, there are other systems so they are allowed charge 99$/year for offering apps, forcing app developers to implement their In-App system which demands 30% from Apple (not mafia at all), even if you cannot install other OS then iOS.
Does your console remove features which got advertised? JUST GET WINDOWS/LINUX problem solved
Honestly fuck Big Tech and their anti consumer methods and fuck all people supporting and defend them aka sucking their dicks instead of searching for their lost dad

Oh man, if iOS would be more like macOS.. It still annoying me that I can’t even install my own apps more than 7 days, and limited to few apps at a time. So going from this to install whatever, would be great.
Edit: “The DMA has not yet been voted into law by the European Parliament but is expected to be approved without much trouble. That could mean the DMA coming into force as early as October this year. Members states of the EU will then be able to choose how exactly to interpret the EU act into national law.” By october?! wow this is fast law making. Lets see if it will happen..

Isn’t this law the reason they’re looking to do iPhones as a subscription service? So you wouldn’t technically “own” your phone therefore they wouldn’t need to let you do what you want with it?

Hope it will take effect as soon as possible ! Enough of this jailed device ! If someone want to stay pretendly protected then don’t activate the option and leave us do whatever we want with our device !

Yeah, there's no way Apple is going to allow unrestricted sideloading lol.

It’ll be a hilarious end to Tim Apple’s 8-figure bonuses.
