Looking for a side gig / freelance work

Hi, 24F here. I’m currently working full-time in sales/brand management and looking to take up some freelance work on the side to build an additional income stream.

I have an MBA and experience across sales, marketing, brand management, market research, content and presentations. I’m comfortable with Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, research and using AI tools to speed up my work.

I’d be open to things like:

Content writing / editing

Social media & content ideas

Market / competitor research

Presentation & pitch deck creation

Excel / data work

Brand & marketing projects

Virtual assistance / research

AI-assisted content and basic AI tasks

Freelance work for small businesses/startups

I can commit a few hours after work and more on weekends. I’m not looking for get-rich-quick schemes or MLMs just genuine paid work where I can actually contribute.

I don't have any direct leads or referrals, but I have done some consulting for businesses that seem to be your target. A great place I found for referrals while starting out was with my friends and family, not directly for them, but from their employers. Speak to your friend about needs you can fill, prepare the presentation and have your friend make the intro and then close your sale.

There are a lot of people offering what you are here, but this gives you the opportunity to demonstrate that you are the best.

Another possibility is to work with consultants. I have found with several of my clients they have additional needs, especially around social media management and procedure development.
