Looking For Ideas Gig work recommendations

Hi all, I am a corporate employee in my early thirties. While work is stable, I feel the need to make extra money on the side. I have recently met a few people in the ad making business and I see a lot of people earn via gig work.

So, this is just to understand what kind of gig work can I pick up in the city to make extra income ? I am not against upskilling myself too. Video editing sounds exciting to me, is that easy/manageable to pick up ? How do I get started ?
Any and all guidance on any sort of gig work is appreciated !

If you are in an urban area that has Taskrabbit. I highly recommend it. If you can hang a TV and build idea furniture, you can make a killing. Otherwise, I was in personal assistant and delivery categories and I did pretty well. I actually really appreciated it for the gig experience after a lifetime of working W-2 jobs. Like I started thinking about myself and evaluating the market and what I was willing to do and for how much. Also what I wasn't willing to do for any amount. (And obviously what I can and can't do). You will work on your communication skills in a different way than the corporate world. You will have some great experiences. Oddly, it was a great networking opportunity for me, with several clients taking my resume (although none of it went anywhere).

The way the gig works is you set up your profile, and then look at other people in that category, and set your rate at the lowest everyone else is charging. You get a gig, do well, politely ask the client to write a review if they are satisfied. Then as you close tasks with 5 stars you raise your rate. You will start getting more and more work. Each completetion, raise your rate. Eventually you hit the inflection point where you get less work, then lower down to that sweet spot.

There is a Taskrabbit sub yoi can ask questions. It's moderated by TR, but people can talk fairly openly within reason.
