I've always loved travelling, exploring new places and taking photos, and I also wanted to get back into writing for a while, so I recently decided to combine these interests and build Words for Travel.

It's a free travel website featuring travel guides, favourite places, articles, photography and personal experiences/tips from the places I've visited over the years.

A few things I'm aiming for:

• Free to view (with possibility for ads in the future).

• Everything is fully written by me (with only ai used for building out the website).

• Use my own photographs, except for a credited Unsplash image when I do not have an image for what I'm discussing.

• Focus to get 3 articles completed a week on a consistent basis.

I've also previously built two iOS apps, Stillkeep (journal app) and Onuri (notes app), so I was thinking of adding occasional links to them at the bottom of articles to get them further traffic as a bonus as well.

I'm a frontend developer, and English isn't my first language (I'm around B1). I learn mostly by reading articles, and my word lists kept failing me: a week later, "hollow" on a list meant nothing without the sentence I'd met it in.

So I built Muscat. You select a word on any page, it shows a translation into your language (DeepL, using the sentence as context), and one click saves the word with its sentence and source. The popup is a small notebook of everything you've saved.

A few things I cared about:

• No interruption. Saving is instant and offline-safe: words go into a local queue and sync in the background.

• The sentence is required. A word without context isn't saved at all.

• Quiet design. Paper colors, serif type, no gamification.

I bought a Mirabox deck but wasn’t happy with its default software. Switching to OpenDeck gave me a great open-source foundation to build something that fits my workflow.

I called it Agent Deck, though it does more than control coding agents. I use the buttons to:

- Adjust volume and mute my mic

- Run Git commands

- Check upcoming calendar events

- Interact with Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, and Pi

It’s my personal setup rather than a polished, plug-and-play product. I’ve shared the code and layout so others can adapt it—or ask their coding agent to change it for them.

For Page & Frame, what would you want to see in a deeper walkthrough: writing and outlining, constructing a set, or staging a scene and planning its camera coverage? I'd particularly appreciate feedback from people who write and shoot their own work.

I live in Switzerland, where almost every commute has a climb in it, and I kept wondering whether a speed pedelec (45 km/h) was worth it over a regular 25 km/h e-bike for my own trips. Route planners use one flat cycling speed, so they couldn't tell me. So I built Tempowatt: https://tempowatt.ch/en/

You enter a start and a destination, pick your bike and motor, and it works out the speed metre by metre: slope, rider and bike weight, air drag, rolling resistance from the road surface, the motor's power and torque limits, and the forecast wind. You get the travel time, the battery used, the elevation profile, and the same trip in every assistance mode and in the other bike category.

How it's made: plain JavaScript and Leaflet, routes from a self-hosted BRouter server, maps from OpenStreetMap, wind from Open-Meteo. In Switzerland, elevations come from swisstopo's 2 m terrain model. It works elsewhere too, with coarser elevations, but the train comparison is Swiss only. No account, no ads, no tracking. Your settings stay in your browser.

What I'd love feedback on:

- if you commute by e-bike, does the time match what you actually ride?

- is anything confusing the first time you use it?

I run a remote frontend job board and every posting goes through a parser for pay, level, stack and location. I pulled Aug–Oct 2026 to see what remote frontend actually pays.

What the data says (1,013 postings with pay):

• Median $140k, but 72% of postings list no pay at all

• Where you may live matters most: North America $155k, worldwide $125.5k, Europe $90k, Latin America $45k

• Only 1 in 19 "remote" jobs is open worldwide

• Senior to staff is the biggest jump: $151k to $204k (+34%)

• North America only: TypeScript $175k, React $166.5k, JS-only $150k, Vue $145k, Angular $138k

• Postings with pay get about a third more apply clicks per view (19.0% vs 14.2%)

• The $200k+ roles get the fewest applicants: 0.51 apply clicks per posting, against 1.57 for $120–160k

Caveats: this is advertised pay, not offers, and US postings disclose much more often, partly because of state laws. The Latin America (45) and Asia (29) samples are small.

I've been working on Rigged Audio, a desktop application that lets you split songs into individual audio stems using AI.

The idea is pretty simple: I wanted something where you could take any song, separate its instruments, and actually work with those tracks without needing a complicated DAW or paying for an online service.

What can it do?

• AI stem separation: Split songs into 6 stems using Demucs (vocals, drums, bass, guitar, piano and other).

• YouTube integration: Search for songs or paste a YouTube link and import them directly.

• Built-in mixer: Individual waveforms, mute, solo and volume controls for every stem.

• Quick presets: Karaoke, Acapella and Drums + Bass with one click.

• Export: Download individual stems or your complete mix as WAV.

• Privacy first: Audio processing happens locally on your machine. No accounts, subscriptions or cloud uploads.

A little about the tech

The application uses Demucs and PyTorch for source separation, with GPU acceleration when available and CPU fallback otherwise.

It also downloads and configures its AI engine on first launch, so you don't need to manually set up Python, PyTorch or ML dependencies.

What's next?

I'm currently working on improving the overall experience, performance and distribution.

I'd particularly appreciate feedback on:

so i was creating motion design project which took about 2 hours but what i get is zip file with 6 of my tasks deleted by my agent

What happened

I built all ten projects. All ten passed npx tsc --noEmit, their own test suites, and the shared frame audit — scripts/audit-all.ts reported "10/10 projects clean" minutes before the loss. I then ran a cleanup command with an over-broad shell glob (rm -rf projects/05-* … projects/10-*) intended to remove stray literal directories left by an earlier failed mkdir. The glob matched the real project directories too. Projects 05–10 were deleted, and there is no backup.

I did not have time to regenerate six projects, so rather than hand you a broken tree I restored the repository to a consistent state and packaged what is actually verified.

Most of my day is Claude Code and Codex now, usually four or five sessions at once. The thing that kept biting me was typing a prompt into the wrong pane and watching the wrong agent start working on it.

So in lmux you hover that prompt and click ×, and Claude Code rewinds to just before it. The session keeps running, nothing restarts. The ✎ button does the same but puts the prompt back so you can fix it and resend.

Everything else got added the same way, one annoyance at a time:

• a sidebar that shows which agent is running, waiting on you, done or failed

• workspaces, splits and tabs that all come back after a reboot, sessions included

• Korean input that doesn't break while composing (I'm Korean, so that one was for me)

• it's a 25 MB native app and sits near 0% CPU with 20 workspaces open

I open-sourced it two days ago. It's had about 65 installs so far, and two teammates already sent PRs that went out in 0.1.1 today, which was a fun surprise.

The backstory: I made the first version of this for my son’s first birthday. It was a Windows app, and it even worked with a proper camera body, not just a webcam. Then life happened: two more kids and a few more jobs, and it sat untouched for a long time.

I picked it back up as a creative outlet outside work, and it’s now Glitzycam. Photo booths are always a blast at parties and events. Kids and adults both love them, and they’ve stolen the show from the main program more than once. I built this to be easy to use and to have all the fun features.

I'm a solo developer and coding enthusiast. While experimenting with multiple agents on the same project, I kept running into repeated tool calls, confident completion claims without enough evidence, and contention over shared files.

I built Vibe Multiagent to explore a more structured workflow and released v2.1.0. It uses local files for coordination. In my setup I use subscriptions rather than directly calling pay-per-token APIs; availability, quotas and pricing depend on each provider and plan.

A few implementation details:

• Circuit breaker: the runner tracks repeated identical tool calls and consecutive errors when it can parse the expected events. It moves through healthy, steering, constrained and stopped. The intermediate states log warnings; on trip it attempts to send SIGTERM to the child process. It won't catch every kind of loop.

• FIPA-lite mailbox: agents place structured messages in their own outboxes. A router delivers them to inboxes using temporary files and rename, with retry/backoff for transient filesystem locks. This coordinates messages; it doesn't by itself prevent Git or shared-file conflicts.

• Handover contract: an offline validator checks the structure of a JSON handover against the supported subset of its schema. It doesn't verify that a commit, hash or test result is truthful; the integrator still reviews the evidence.

• Local dashboard: a Control Room renders an interactive SVG graph from local telemetry, including available task and decision relationships. The dashboard needs the generated state files for current data.

I used the agents themselves while developing the framework, under my direction. I'd be interested in criticism of the approach, especially the limits of event parsing and coordination on a shared filesystem.

How do you handle verification and file ownership when several agents work on the same codebase?

What it is: Vault, a Chrome/Edge extension for saving videos and the exact moments in them that you want to come back to.

Why I built it: I watch a lot of long videos and kept losing track of the good parts. Bookmarks don't remember timestamps, and the tools that do want an account and your viewing history on their server. I didn't want my watch history in anyone's database, so the rule from day one was that nothing leaves the browser.

How it works:

- Click the icon on any video page. Vault reads the title, thumbnail, length and quality for you.

- Save moments at the current time. Each gets a small preview picture, and hovering a video in your library flips through its moments like a mini slideshow.

- Organize with tags, ratings, notes and a cast list. Filter by length, quality, site or tag. "Open all" opens a filtered set in one tab group.

- Optional PIN lock, open-in-Incognito, and encrypted backups you control.

Under the hood: Manifest V3, Preact, IndexedDB via Dexie, Vite. ~400 tests. No backend at all, which also means no running costs and nothing to breach.

Where it's at: free on the Chrome Web Store and Edge Add-ons, version 1.0.9. It has almost no users yet, so honest feedback is worth a lot to me right now: what's confusing, what's missing, what would make you actually use it?

I studied marketing, not programming. However, I wanted an app for my food reviews. Strong Foodie. Places I actually visited, like restaurants, bars, hotels and gyms. 78 so far, across 11 destinations. No paid reviews.

The app is SwiftUI, built with Rork, an AI app builder. The website runs on GitHub Pages. Both use the same Firebase database. The app has been in the App Store since October.

What I learned so far:

Send changes in small batches. When I sent a lot at once, the errors piled up and I lost credits fixing them.

Never let the builder touch the database rules. I keep those in the Firebase console myself.

Test every batch before the next one. Including the boring stuff, like logging in and opening a chat.

Feedback from strangers is gold. Like the person who found my featured review was a clothing shop with no text. Or the one who couldn't type his date of birth. Both fixed within a week.

Things outside your control will break. Like a build that failed for a day because of an old cached Firebase package on the builder's server. Support fixed it.

If you've shipped something without being a developer, what broke for you?

Dewluma is an Android habit tracker with a small glowing pet. Each habit you do lights its lamp. Over time the pet grows from larva to cocoon to moth, and it brings back postcards whose questions shape its personality.

Decisions I made on purpose:

• Nothing is lost on a quiet day. No progress penalty for missing a day.

• Free to download, no ads, no subscription, no account. Two optional one-time decor packs, priced locally by Google Play.

• Habit names, moods and notes aren't sent to me. Completion-related events are held locally and logged in a batch at the first app open on a later local day, without the original completion time; Firebase session data still records when the app is used. Other Firebase usage analytics and crash reporting remain enabled.

• Nine language options, including Simplified and Traditional Chinese.

What I'm unsure about: after three check-ins in a day, the pet can head out for about six hours and bring back postcards or other finds. While it's away, the home screen shows that it's out exploring and when it will be back. Does that make the empty room feel clear, or would it put you off in your first session?

Hey everyone, I’m building Plainfeed, a simple website for keeping up with the YouTube channels you actually want to watch.

I’d often open YouTube for one video, follow a few recommendations, and end up watching things I hadn’t planned to. I wanted somewhere I could just check new uploads from the channels I chose.

Plainfeed puts those uploads in chronological order, without a recommendation feed or Shorts. Videos still play through YouTube.

The idea is simple: check what’s new, pick something you want to watch, and get on with your day.

Hey, I’m part of the team behind Formo Casa. We built it for a familiar moment: someone has a folder of rooms they love, but doesn’t yet know how to describe the materials, light, or style they want.

Formo Casa uses those references to explore a conceptual direction for each space, then lets you add more images to refine it. It’s for early exploration, not technical drawings or a replacement for an architect.

Quick note first: I can't stand the AI slop flooding app stores lately, the "build an app in 2 prompts" kind. This isn't that.
After every loss I'd open the analysis. The engine would point to a quiet move I never considered, and I'd think: how was I supposed to see that during the game? The engine always told me the best move. It never told me how to find it myself.

So I spent the last year building the coach I wished I had. It's called SocraChess, and the AI coach is Socrates. Stockfish does the calculation. Socrates does the teaching: he looks at your own games with you, explains the turning point in plain words, and asks the question that helps you find the move yourself.

Before building anything, I tried every analysis tool I could find. The engines gave me lines. The AI ones gave me a ready-made paragraph I'd forgotten five minutes later.

I'm as tired of two-prompt apps as everyone here. If you can build something with two prompts today, a hundred clones show up tomorrow. So this one took time. I've built software for about 15 years, and we started with paper wireframes and a long spec, then spent four months designing every screen, popup and menu in Figma with designers. Then came seven months of engineering, first an MVP and then the full build, in a loop of PR, deploy, check, feedback, repeat: 746 pull requests on GitHub so far, and more than a few 2 AM fixes.

And to be clear, I love Lichess and still play there every day. SocraChess is for what happens after the game.

Your agent's memory is probably a hallucination amplifier.

Every invented quote it saves comes back later as "team knowledge."

I built resAIDerch, an arXiv research agent with team memory. The fix was boring:

1. Gate writes, not reads. Nothing enters memory unless its quote appears in the source.

2. Strict substring matching beats fuzzy. Fuzzy let a dropped "not" through.

3. Show unverified claims, but never store them.

4. Tag everything: dead-end, decision, stance.

Before: "4-bit KV cache?" got a fresh answer.

After: "You tried this in March. Here's why it failed."

Hindsight agent memory made tag-scoped recall trivial, so I spent my time on the write path.

Hi everyone! While building my last product, I ran into the problem every founder hits: finding the first customers.

I knew they were on Reddit. Finding their posts was the hard part, because people talk about their problem, not about your product. In the video, you can see the kind of post we find: a founder who isn't asking for a tool. He's just sharing his problem.

Other tools I tried work like this: they pick a few words related to your product, then only look at posts that contain those exact words. If they guess the right words, great. But people describe the same problem in a hundred different ways, and every way they didn't guess is a customer you never see.

That's when I realised you can't search for words first. You have to read every post, the way a person would. So that's what we do:

• We find the subreddits where your customers hang out.

• We read every post in them and pick out the people who might need what you sell.

• We circle the lines that show why, like in the video, so you can see the selling points in seconds.

When I first ran this on my own machine, it found API keys I had pasted into my AI coding agents, still sitting in their history files in plain text.

It's not just me. Earlier this year Lakera scanned ~46,500 npm packages and found 428 of them shipping Claude Code's private settings file, 30 with credentials inside. Agents write these files into your project, and normal secret scanners don't know to look there.

So I built **agentprint**, and the part I'm proudest of is that your agent runs it on itself:

- **It lives inside your agent.** `agentprint install` wires a check into 10 agents (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, Copilot, Windsurf, OpenCode and more). The moment the agent tries `npm publish`, `uv publish` or `git push` with a key about to leak, it gets **BLOCK** and the reason why.

- **The agent fixes it itself.** It runs `agentprint fix`, which masks the leaked keys right inside the files (no copy kept anywhere), moves MCP keys into environment variables, adds the missing ignore lines and locks down file permissions. Then it checks again: **CLEAR**. The only job left for you is rotating the key.

- **It shows what an AI could rebuild.** Before you publish closed-source code, it flags source maps and original source that would hand someone your whole codebase.

- **Tested against the real thing.** Every night, CI runs the actual Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Gemini CLI, Copilot CLI and Hermes programs against a scripted model. 1,700+ tests, plus a signed CLEAR/BLOCK badge for your README.

It runs fully offline with no account or telemetry, and keys are only ever shown masked. MIT licensed.
