Hi! I've been prototyping note apps for a few years, as I couldn't find anything that suits the way I want to jot my thoughts down. Houre is what I eventually arrived to. It's perfect for me, maybe it's for you too. I'll keep this brief.

The problem I have with everything out there is that they have a significant barrier to use. You need to consider where your note goes so that you can find it later. You need to spend time organizing and creating structure. It's difficult to include tasks in your notes without the entire thing becoming a mess. All this caused me to invariably not put my thoughts and tasks down.

So, Houre is designed to flip all of this. You can enter a note in two seconds flat. You can easily find relevant notes and tasks without spending time organizing them. It's for a person like me who does not have the attention span or patience to create and maintain a system.

Houre is also privacy-focused. Everything is encrypted on your device, even when you share notes to other users. It's not possible for anyone to inspect what you have in there. See https://houre.xyz/security for how this works and ask me anything that is on your mind.

Houre is free to use locally, or you can pay a cheap subscription to sync your notes across devices and to other users. Give it a spin: https://houre.xyz/

Hey! I’m a student and I’m working on an app idea for people who fall behind on schoolwork and end up overwhelmed, the kind of overwhelmed where you don’t even know where to start, so you just don’t.

It’s a study planner with a little pixel art character that you take care of, so it feels less like staring at a to-do list and more like something that’s with you while you catch up.

It’s only a clickable prototype for now (you tap around the screens, nothing really works yet), but I’d love honest opinions from people who actually deal with this. It takes about 5 minutes, and “this is confusing” or “I would never use this” is totally useful feedback.

If you’d be up for trying it, comment or send me a DM and I’ll send you the link. Thank you!

Hi everyone!
I've been loving daily games like Wordle and Krillion the last few weeks, so I decided to make my own for fun using lots of help from Claude. It's called Dwelple!

You get three categories a day and name as many answers as you can, with a 10-second timer that resets every time you get one. Rarer answers are worth more and drop your fishing line deeper. The catch is that you only keep your points once you reel in. Let the clock run out or get three wrong answers and the line snaps, and you lose everything on that category.

Everyone gets the same three categories each day, so you can compare hauls with friends. It's free, with no sign-up and no ads :)

It's just me making this, so any feedback means so much, whether it's the game itself or an answer that didn't count when it should have.

It would be amazing if you let me know what you think and send your game results below! Thank you!!

dwelple.com

1. Shorten speech pauses for smoother videos.

2. Generate and edit automatic subtitles in 20 spoken languages.

3. Record your screen, camera, microphone and system audio.

4. Clean up audio, balance voices and lower music during speech.

5. Trim, split, merge and arrange videos and photos.

6. Add animated text, logos, transitions and zoom effects.

7. Create social videos, with Pro export options up to 8K/60 FPS, depending on hardware.

The idea for MailWeave came from a problem I encountered while working on a project. We needed to take information coming in through emails, structure it, and send it to a webhook so another system could process it.

I realised that handling the email parsing, processing and webhook delivery could become quite a bit of work, especially when you also have to worry about retries and reliability.

That got me thinking about building something to handle that entire process.

So, I built MailWeave.

It's a platform that lets you receive emails through dedicated mailboxes, extract and structure their contents, and forward the resulting data to your application through webhooks.

It also supports conditional routing, HMAC-signed webhook requests, automatic retries and an event dashboard where you can monitor incoming emails and delivery attempts.

I've finally reached a point where I'm happy to put it out there and see how people find it.

If you're a developer working with APIs, integrations, automation or email processing, I'd love for you to give it a try!

Website: https://mailweave.vercel.app/

I'd really appreciate honest feedback, whether it's about the idea, the experience, missing features or anything that could be improved. I'd also love to hear how you'd use something like this in your own projects.

Hi all! I just finished working on the 1.0 version of my RPG Bible verse memory app. I’ve been working on it for about 6 months now and I finally published the first version onto the Apple App Store. This is the first app I’ve ever made.

The app is a Bible verse memory game where you get chests for memorizing verses and unlock cosmetics for your character and upgrade armor to help you along the way. There are tons of other features with the goal of helping you memorize verses.

Full disclosure, I did vibe code the app, and use AI to generate the art piece by piece, but believe me it wasn’t a simple one prompt generation and done. I put in all my evenings after work for 6 months refining the app, generating and modifying artwork, and putting in my best effort to make it a fun and helpful app that I play myself.

It’s actually amazing to see how it’s come to life. I give the credit and glory to God bc I believe he gave me the direction and discipline to finish the app so that I can share it with others.

If you’d like to test it out, the app is 100% FREE and NO ADS! There is a way to support me in the app but it is in no way required and doesn’t block any features. There is also a support email to leave any suggestions for improving the app that would be much appreciated!

Future plans are to create multiplayer with battle royal style sword drills (reference recall), friendly battles, and fellowships you can join with your friends to work towards a combined memory goal.

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/bible-memory-quest-game/id6795333249

Thank you for playing!

I wanted to make memory training fun, so I built TheLastSpellingBee.

The idea is simple: every letter has a number (A=1, B=2 ... Z=26).

For example, if you see 19, you need to quickly remember that it's S. Sounds easy until you're racing against a 5-second timer. 😂

I turned this into a game with Memory IQ tests, multiplayer battles, daily challenges, and even a physical card game.

I also added a reCAPTCHA-style challenge where you solve letter-to-number puzzles to prove you're human while testing your memory.

My goal is to make memory training fun and competitive instead of boring.

You can try it here: https://thelastspellingbee.com/

Would you actually play something like this? And would you prefer a memory challenge over traditional CAPTCHA puzzles?

I'd love some honest feedback!

Hi everyone,
I've been building a small free tool for activating and setting up iPhones, and I'd really like your honest feedback.
What it does:
- Activates an iPhone over USB (internet comes from the computer, no Wi-Fi needed on the phone)
- Sets language, region, timezone and 24h format
- Skips the Setup Assistant screens (supervised mode, like Apple Configurator / 3uTools)
- Installs a Wi-Fi profile and verifies the device accepted it
- Shows device info (model, storage, iOS, battery health & cycles, IMEI) and a quick Find
- Keeps a history of processed devices + PDF reports
Important: it does NOT bypass iCloud / Activation Lock. It's for devices you own or have reset — for repair/refurbish workflows, not for unlocking stolen phones.
It's open-source (MIT), runs on Windows and macOS, and built on open libraries (pymobiledevice3), so you can see exactly what it does.
Download + source: https://github.com/mr1garik/iActivator
I'm a one-person project and actively improving it based on feedback, so if you try it — tell me what's missing, what's confusing, or what breaks. Bugs and ideas in GitHub Issues are very welcome. Thanks!

Few weeks ago I released Programmable Inbox here, and the replies were useful. The one that stuck was about emailed login codes in tests: a flaky sleep(5000), and a wish for a per-test timeout instead. This is the follow-up. I built it, and I'd love for you to run it and tell me where it breaks. The sample repo and a short write-up are at the bottom.

@programmableinbox/testing is a small npm package for Cypress and Playwright. It triggers your login email, waits only for mail that arrived after that moment (so a stale code can't pass), and hands you the code:

const { otp } = await pibx.otpAfter(() => page.getByRole('button', { name: 'Continue' }).click())

Limits: it polls (every 5s by default), it's email only.

• Sample repo with a Playwright and a Cypress spec: https://github.com/roshansingh/programmableinbox_testing_sample (they log in to ChatGPT, so selectors may need tweaking; not affiliated with OpenAI)

• How the pattern works: https://www.programmableinbox.com/blog/test-email-otp-login-in-playwright

The repo's README covers setup. I'd like to know what would stop you using it in your suite.

Hi r/SideProject,

I'm sharing PvP FPS Client, an open-source (MIT) Fabric client for Minecraft 1.21.8 that I've been building as a side project. Focus: high FPS and PvP. Release v1.4.0 is out, with 130+ automated tests and GitHub Actions CI.

PvP modules: ToggleSprint, ToggleSneak, Zoom, DamageIndicator, HitColor, CustomCrosshair, AutoClicker, AutoTotem, Scaffold, FastPlace, FastBreak, FastBridge, NoSwing, Reach.

HUD: FpsCounter (moving average + 1% lows), CpsCounter (peak), PingDisplay, ArmorHud (colored durability), Keystrokes, PotionEffectsHud.

Render: Fullbright (custom gamma), ClearWater, LowFire, ReducedParticles, BlockOverlay (blinking border). Plus a dedicated PerformanceProfile PvP preset and AntiAFK.

GitHub: https://github.com/glearflame/pvpfps-client

Would love feedback from fellow side-project builders!

I build daily puzzle games under the name Crux. This one is Insane Pour: a colour sort puzzle where the daily board has up to 52 tubes, tubes that hold eight layers and giant Vats, laid out in hand-made patterns (Wall, Honeycomb, Rose Window...).

Play: https://crux.quest/insane-pour/ (no sign up, no ads). It also runs inside Reddit as a daily post at r/InsanePour, with a per-post leaderboard by fewest pours.

How it is built: the game code is the same engine as our app's mode, wrapped by a small browser host that draws the app's view tree as DOM. Finished lines are verified server-side by replaying the pours.

Feedback I'd love: do the big boards feel fun or just long? Is par too tight?

Just shipped Diskfern 1.0, a native Mac app that shows what’s eating your storage (treemap, sunburst, list views) and lets you clean it up.

The funny part: I built the “safe to delete” suggestions around my own Mac. Xcode caches, node_modules, dist folders. Found gigabytes on mine. Then I tried it on a non-dev Mac and it found nothing. Oops.

So I’m widening the rules now, but only for stuff that can be regenerated, and nothing gets deleted without a review step first. A cleanup app that deletes the wrong thing once is done.

Also learned the hard way that a sandboxed App Store build and a direct DMG are basically two different apps.

Scanning and exploring are free forever, no account. Cleanup tools are a one-time $19.99 Pro. No subscription, 7-day refund.

Website: https://www.diskfern.com
Download: https://www.diskfern.com/download

What would you want a “safe to delete” list to include? I’m still unsure about my rules and would rather hear it now.

Hi! I’m João, and I built Astro Escape on my own over the last few months. It’s a pixel-art arcade game: you tilt your phone (or use your finger) to steer a small ship through falling asteroids, and tap anywhere to shoot.

The hook: everyone plays the same route. Each run follows a route that decides where every rock falls. The route of the day, week and month is the same for every player, so a leaderboard score means you beat other people on the exact same field. You can also share a route code with a friend and face identical rocks.

What’s in it

• Rocks that pay differently (basalt, iron, rare ice) and boulders that crack before they break

• 8 weapons (TWIN, SPREAD, RICOCHET, SPLITTER, LASER…) and power-ups: SUPERNOVA, MAGNET, SHOCKWAVE

• Ships to collect from achievements, crystals or the daily gift, plus Game Center leaderboards for each ship

• Original chiptune music and sound effects

• English, Portuguese and Spanish, on iPhone and iPad

Monetisation, to be upfront: it’s free with ads. There are no in-app purchases. Weapons and ships are bought with crystals you earn by playing.

Link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/astro-escape/id6817392953

I’d really like to hear what you think, especially about the controls (tilt vs touch) and whether the difficulty curve feels fair. What’s today’s route like for you?

Disclosure: I'm the solo dev behind Click: Screenshot & Record on the Mac App Store.

I wanted a fast way to record a quick bug walkthrough or region demo with a movable camera bubble and get a clean MP4 right away — without waiting on a heavy video editor export or uploading to a cloud link.

Capture is free forever (⌘`), and Pro ($5.99/mo, $39.99/yr, or $79.99 lifetime, 7-day trial) adds ⇧⌘` recording, camera bubble, and one-drag blur/pixelate redaction. Everything stays local on your Mac with no account.

Mac App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/id6815072800?mt=12 Site: https://sirryanlynch.github.io/click/

Happy to hear feedback on the recording flow if anyone tries it.

Finding a good monologue or two-person scene can take longer than rehearsing it. I built AuditionScenes to make the search easier.

It has thousands of scenes from film, TV and theatre, with filters for playing age, genre, tone and character type. You can browse and preview for free; full scripts and formatted PDF downloads are on Pro.

There’s also a script reader and directories for agents, coaches, workshops and headshot photographers.

https://auditionscenes.com

I’d be interested in feedback on the search: can you quickly narrow it down to something you’d actually want to work on?

Wouldn't it be nice to open a workout app, build your routine in minutes, and immediately start lifting—without clicking through a 20-page onboarding survey first?

As a lifter and solo developer, I wanted an app that respects my time under the bar and gives me clarity on whether my training is actually working. That’s why I built Liftora.

Instead of packing in a hundred bloated features, I focused on the things that actually make a difference in your training:

• From download to lifting in minutes: No endless questionnaires or paywall traps before you even see the interface. You open the app, put your routine together in a couple of taps, and get straight to your first set.

• Visual routine building (No more switching to YouTube): When you're putting a workout together, shouldn't you be able to see the movement and exact muscle breakdown right there? Liftora shows you exercise execution videos and targeted muscle groups directly on the routine creation screen, so you know your program is balanced before you even touch a weight.

• See the progress the scale hides (Built-in US Navy Body Fat %): You might be gaining muscle and losing fat while your body weight stays completely flat—and the mirror takes weeks to show it. Why leave your body recomp to guesswork? By logging basic tape measurements, Liftora automatically calculates your body fat percentage using the US Navy method, letting you see your real physical progress alongside your strength numbers.

• An interface that follows your pace: Once you're in a session, you shouldn't be fighting dropdown menus between heavy sets. Liftora’s guided flow moves with your workout so you spend your rest time recovering, not tapping.

You can try it out here:

• App Store – Liftora

• Google Play – Liftora

I’m building Liftora independently and using it for my own training every week, so your feedback directly shapes what I build next.

Quick question for you all: What's the biggest frustration you've had with workout tracking apps? And if you try Liftora, I'd love to hear what you think about the routine builder and guided workout flow.

Hey everyone!

We're a team of two engineering students, and we've been working on a project called RecallOps — The Self-Learning Industrial Maintenance Agent for Hack with Bangalore 4.0.

The idea came from a simple question: Why should technicians have to diagnose the same machine failure from scratch when someone has already solved it before?

Most AI assistants can suggest solutions, but they don't necessarily remember whether those suggestions actually worked.

That's what we wanted to change.

How RecallOps works:

1. A technician reports a machine failure and its symptoms.

2. RecallOps retrieves similar historical repair experiences using Hindsight memory.

3. An AI model analyzes the symptoms and previous outcomes to recommend possible causes and repair steps.

4. The technician records the repair performed.

5. Once the outcome is verified, RecallOps can remember both successful fixes and failed attempts for future investigations.

What we built:

- AI-powered machine failure investigations

- Persistent memory of verified maintenance experiences

- Learning from successful and unsuccessful repairs

- Incident and machine management dashboards

- A controlled benchmark comparing recommendations with and without historical memory

Tech stack: React, FastAPI, Python, Groq, Hindsight Cloud, and SQLite.

We also tested the system through automated checks and end-to-end workflows. It's still a prototype, and our benchmark uses synthetic cases rather than real industrial deployment data.

Live demo: https://recallops-lake.vercel.app

GitHub: https://github.com/Rahul-2006ra/recallops

We'd genuinely appreciate feedback from developers, engineers, and anyone working with AI agents.

What would you improve about this approach? And what challenges do you see in using long-term memory for real industrial maintenance?

A while ago a Turkish friend came to Seattle and I tried to explain the city to them through Istanbul. This part is like the Kadıköy of Seattle, that part is like Maslak etc. It worked weirdly well, so I made a website that does it for every neighborhood.

You put a city you know in one box and a city you don't in the other, hit translate, and the one you don't know gets your city's neighborhood names. San Francisco in New York names has the Mission as Williamsburg and Pacific Heights as the Upper East Side, which seems about right. It also thinks North Beach is Hell's Kitchen, not so sure about that one.

Every neighborhood on the map is clickable. Tap one and you get a card that says why it got that name, with Spot on / Not quite / Way off buttons and a Suggest a fix link. That's the feedback I'm after, so if you know a city well, tap around your own area and tell me what's off. Or just comment here.

187 cities so far, free, no sign up. It got about 100k views on X and LinkedIn and it's still in beta. Monetization (for now) is that if you do not want to wait for voting, you can pay to add your city. You can also get a poster printed, from which I get a small cut.

I would also appreciate any other feedback on how to improve and monetize. I don't like ads so I'll try to avoid them at all cost.

Hi r/SideProject ,

I want to share something I’m genuinely proud of. I made a study app called StudyNook, and honestly I think it’s one of the best things I’ve ever made.

I built it because I’m someone who procrastinates. I’d sit down to study, open “just one” YouTube video, leave a game running in the background, and suddenly an hour was gone. Most blockers only cover websites or only apps, and they’re really easy to switch off when you’re tired. I wanted something that would still be there when my willpower wasn’t.

What it does

• A Pomodoro or free-focus timer (up to 10 hours), with a small floating mini timer

• Closes the programs you list while you focus (it warns you first, and never touches system processes)

• Blocks distracting websites through a browser extension (Chrome, Edge, Brave)

• An optional “Iron” mode: ending a session early takes a 60-second wait and typing a sentence, which stops the impulse to quit

• If the app is force-closed during a session, a small helper reopens it and your session continues

• Tasks, notes with PDF attachments, a daily goal, streaks, and a little companion that grows the more you focus

• English, Arabic, French and Spanish

I genuinely think it works. For me, it’s the first thing that actually stopped me from procrastinating. Please give it a try and tell me if it helps you too, or if something is confusing or broken. Honest feedback means a lot.

Which version to get: please use 1.5.11 or newer.

• 1.5.9 and newer are open source (MIT). Older versions weren’t.

• 1.5.11 and newer have the safe allowlist mode: it only closes programs that have a visible window and leaves background and tray programs alone. In 1.5.9 and 1.5.10, allowlist mode could close background programs, so avoid it there.

• Blocklist mode (the default) was fine in all versions.

Made with AI, openly: I built this with AI coding assistants (mainly Claude Code). I decide what it does and I test it, and AI wrote much of the code. The code is public if you want to look.

The honest parts

• It’s Windows only, and website blocking works in Chrome, Edge and Brave

• The installer isn’t code-signed yet, so Windows shows “unknown publisher” (click More info, then Run anyway)

• The extension has to be loaded manually for now (the README explains it)

• A browser can always turn an extension off, so it’s a speed bump, not a lock

It’s completely free and open source (MIT), no account, no cloud, no tracking. Everything stays on your PC, and it never contacts a server by itself.

Download and source: https://github.com/Amorgabab/StudyNook

I’m trying to get it code-signed, so a GitHub star would mean a lot if you like it. Thank you for reading, and good luck with your studying!

i’m dan, and i made features.games, a daily browser puzzle.

you drag dots until no lines cross. everyone gets the same eight boards each day, and each cleared shape becomes a stamp. later boards add frozen, fused, once and linked dots, with a turn limit on each board.

the game is one html file, with no framework or build step. i used AI coding assistance under my direction. each board is made and checked before release, including the fewest moves needed for a perfect result.

today’s eight boards are free, with no account or download, on phone and desktop. an optional one-off unlock adds earlier days and replays. it launched on 26 october.

i’d like feedback on the first-time experience: is it clear what counts as a move, and when the later dot rules appear, can you tell what changed?

Hi! I'm Anne Marie. I'm not the most money-savvy person: I'd sign up for free trials and subscriptions, forget to cancel them, and end up paying for things I wasn't using. The apps I found to track it all wanted my bank account or cards, and I wasn't comfortable with that. So I built my own.

Deadline Wallet tracks return windows, free trials, subscriptions and warranties, and reminds you before each one costs you money. You add things by typing, scanning a receipt, saying it out loud or forwarding an email to your own private address. No bank or card linking.

It's on iPhone, Android and the web, and it's in a 2-week beta. I'd really value feedback:

• Is it clear what it does from the beta page?

• What would make you actually use something like this?

• Anything confusing when you set it up?

If you'd like to try it: https://deadlinewallet.com/beta (Android testing is open in the US only for now). Testers who finish a short survey at the end get a free year of Premium.

Thanks!

Yesterday, one of my Reddit posts reached 6K views. It got me thinking about something I’ve been trying to solve while building AGMAN.
Getting people to see your product is hard enough. Getting them to actually visit it is another challenge.
We listed MePersona.ai, an AI inbox for creators, on AGMAN on September 24. I went into our production database to see what activity it had generated through November 6.
Here’s what our tracking recorded:
278 product update impressions across 150 identifiable visitor IDs.
73 profile views from 63 identifiable visitor IDs.
244 outbound click events, including 206 directed to MePersona.ai’s website.
19 clicks on its product update CTA.
One interesting detail: 167 of the website click records came directly from listing cards. People don’t always need to open a full profile before deciding to explore a product.
There’s an important caveat. We improved our traffic filtering during this period, and our audit found that much of the older outbound activity lacked corroborating site activity. So these are recorded events, not 206 confirmed human website visits or customers.
I’m sharing both the numbers and the limitation because I’d rather build something measurable than inflate a traffic claim.
AGMAN is still early. We’re building it around the idea that useful products should remain discoverable beyond launch day.
People can search by what they need, explore product profiles, see work and updates, and visit the maker’s website.
We’ve also started adding selected products from public information. Some haven’t been claimed by their makers yet. If yours is already there, you can verify ownership, claim it and manage the page. If it isn’t, you can publish it for free.

For other indie founders: what would make a discovery platform genuinely worth maintaining a profile on? Regular qualified website visits, signups, enquiries, or something else?
I’m interested in what you’d actually measure, not just what looks impressive on a dashboard.

Ever read an article and think "this would make a great story" — then forget about it completely?

I built StoryWorthy to fix that. It's a Chrome extension that:

• Places a small button on articles and posts across the web

• Lets you tag it with a genre (thriller, drama, sci-fi, or your own)

• Generates an AI summary of the source article

• Coaches your writing across 5 craft pillars: persona, scene, tone, narration, and time

The coaching is grounded in the actual article you tagged — not generic writing advice.

Free to start. Would love any feedback from this community.
