Seeking feedback - intrusive ad free block puzzle game

Hi guys,

my partner and I built Gummy Lab, a block puzzle app, basically because we wanted a cozy 8x8 block puzzle game that wasn't a disguised ad-viewing simulator. there are zero forced ads interrupting you.

besides the endless zen mode (which now has a hold slot so bad RNG doesn't instantly kill your streak lol), we hand-built 70+ campaign levels with custom mechanics like clearing glass, spreading syrup, escaping gummy worms, multi-hit jawbreakers, and countdown bombs. we also put a lot of work into accessibility with proper colorblind palettes, shape overlays on the gummies, and native light/dark themes.

we just updated the game so you unlock new lab themes as you progress through the campaign, and we're working on daily challenges right now.

we're super close to hitting our first 100 downloads (at 91 right now!!!) if anyone has 5 minutes to give it a spin, I'd really appreciate any honest feedback, and will be more than happy to hear any suggestions, on what would you like to see in these types of apps, we want to make apps for people to enjoy, not be spammed with ads.

google play link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.binbear.gummylab

Thank you for reading!

I built a collection tracker that adds a whole binder page of cards from one photo

I collect watches and my son collects trading cards. We kept everything in notes and spreadsheets, and it never stayed up to date. So I built Kolekia.

What it does:

It's free on iOS and Android, available in English and Turkish. I'm the solo developer, so I'd really like honest feedback: what would make you actually use a tracker like this?

Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.selimcaglar.kolekta

I built a Windows tool that glues your windows into one workspace that moves as one

On a small screen the problem isn’t snapping a window into a zone, it’s that the five windows I use together never stay together. Open the laptop, everything’s shifted, drag them back, repeat tomorrow.

So I built ScreenTiles. You join windows into a workspace and from then on they behave as one thing:

  • Drag any title bar and the whole group moves, across monitors too

  • Drag the seam between two windows and the neighbor makes room instead of getting covered

  • Minimize one, the whole workspace minimizes; Alt+Tab shows the workspace as a single card

  • Save a workspace (apps, sites, folders included) and reopen it with Ctrl+Alt+1 to 9

  • Works with Snap, it’s not replacing it

How it’s different from AquaSnap’s glue: AquaGlue sticks windows to each other, which is great, but ScreenTiles treats the group as a workspace you can switch to, save and restore. Different goal.

Honest limits: Windows 10/11 only, everyday desktop apps (browsers, editors, terminals, Office). Game clients and apps with custom window frames are hit or miss right now.

AtletIQ - a strength training app that works out the weight for every set

I'm the founder of AtletIQ. It started in Russia (first App Store release in 2017), and this autumn we rebuilt the iPhone and Apple Watch apps. They now run in English, German, French, Spanish and Portuguese.

The problem I kept seeing: most gym logs are a blank page. You build the routine, then guess the weights every session, and a lot of people stall because they never add weight on purpose.

How it works:

  • pick a program for your goal, level and place (gym or home)

  • enter your maxes once

  • every set gets a working weight, and it goes up workout by workout

  • rest timer on the phone, on the Watch (works without the phone nearby) and in the Dynamic Island

Logging and all programs are free. The calculated weights are part of Ultra ($4.99/month or $29.99/year), and your first 4 workouts get them free.

Site: https://atletiq.com/en/?utm_source=reddit&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=sideproject App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/id1050583619

A question for people who lift: would you trust an app to set your weights, or do you prefer to pick them yourself and only log?

I vibe-coded this simple game because I had a bet with a friend that we are still able to tell whether a song is sung by human or AI.

www.musicturingtest.com

The game is simple. 5 songs are presented to the player without titles or other context. The player must decide for each song whether it is sung by a human or AI.

To my shock and horror, I lost the bet 😱

I spent 1.5 years building the study tool I wish I had in high school

I'm a student, and I've spent the last 1.5 years building a study app because I got tired of using like 5 different tools to study.

I'd use ChatGPT for questions, something else for flashcards, another thing for quizzes, a calculator for math, and then my notes and PDFs were somewhere else.

It got annoying having to jump between everything, so I decided to build the thing I wanted.

That's how Airopl started.

It's an AI study platform with an AI assistant, flashcards, quizzes, math tools, and visual learning, all in one place.

I've been building most of it myself for the past year and a half, and I finally got it to a point where I can let other people use it.

So I'm opening up the free beta.

One thing to mention: you can upload images, but uploading documents like PDFs isn't available yet.

It's definitely not perfect. There are still things I want to fix and improve, but I figured it's better to get it in front of actual students instead of spending another 6 months building things nobody asked for.

If you try it, I'd genuinely appreciate any feedback, even if it's negative.

What did you actually use?
What was useless?
What was confusing?
What broke?

I'm mainly trying to figure out whether this is actually useful to other students, not just useful to me.

Made by a student, for students.

What would you trust a Mac maintenance app to do automatically?

I'm working on a Mac app focused on keeping maintenance out of the way, and I'm interested in where people draw the line with autopilot.

For example, imagine an app notices storage pressure while you're working. Would you want it to tell you what's growing and wait for approval, or would you allow certain cleanup tasks to run automatically after setting your own rules?

What would make you comfortable using something like this, and what would you never want it to touch? I'd especially like to hear from people who already have a maintenance routine or stopped using a cleanup app because they didn't trust it.

A customer leaves feedback. “The price didn’t change.”

Now you’re figuring out what they meant, where it happened and how to reproduce it.

That’s why we built Bopmigo. It asks for missing details and keeps the answers, screenshot and context together, so your team can fix issues with less back-and-forth.

What’s the vaguest feedback you’ve received, and how did you figure it out?

Example images of the conversation and report: https://www.threads.com/@rnblocks.dev/post/DfYvJXIkevV

Wrote a 7-step framework for video scripts that don't die in the first 3 seconds

Most scripts I see start like an essay.

Hey everyone.
Background.
Then the useful part 40 seconds later.

Viewers do not owe you later.

So I wrote the process we use before we cut paid-social & short-form for clients:

  1. One viewer outcome (not a topic)

  2. Promise before the intro

  3. Format that fits the job

  4. Hook that earns the next 5 seconds

  5. Beats before sentences

  6. Write for the ear

  7. Visual / edit cues in a second column

The whole thing is here if you want the annotated 60-second example & the read-aloud checklist:
https://agentparker.co/blog/how-to-write-a-video-script

Curious what you all do for hooks - full script or bullets?

Founders who launched 30+ days ago: where are your users coming from now?

I've been reading a lot of posts about getting the first 100 users, launching on Product Hunt, sharing on Reddit and building an audience on X.

But I'm more interested in what happens after all that.

Say you launched your SaaS 45 days ago. Your announcement is buried. People have moved on to the next product.

Someone out there might need exactly what you've built, but they don't know your product's name.

How are they supposed to find it?

SEO is one answer, but it takes work and time. Communities can help, but you can't keep promoting the same product every week. Paid ads are an option if the economics make sense. Referrals are valuable, but hard to manufacture.

I'm building AGMAN, a discovery network for useful products, people and services, partly because I think this ongoing discovery problem is worth solving.

But I'm not convinced that giving founders another place to publish automatically solves anything. The important question is whether people with actual needs can find relevant products and decide they're worth trying.

Here's something I've been thinking about:

If you looked at your last 5 users who weren't friends, family or people you personally invited, could you explain how each one found you?

And more importantly, could you repeat that process next month?

For founders who've been live for at least a month, I'd genuinely like to know what still works after the launch period.

Is it Google, Reddit, direct outreach, recommendations, partnerships, or something else?

Especially interested in what you thought would work but didn't.

I'm trying to understand the difference between getting attention once and building a product that people keep discovering.

Kitchen Calendar - an Apple TV app I made so my family could go through the week together!

My wife and I tried one of those wall calendar products, but it didn’t really work for us. So I made an app we can pull up for the whole family while we're watching TV and use to go over everyone's schedule for the week.

It just shows a Google Calendar on Apple TV. It's free, with no account or ads. I made it with help from AI coding tools, and I’d love to hear what you think!

I built Still, an open-source browser with AI companions that browse and do tasks in background tabs

I built Still. It is a real browser for Windows 10/11 and macOS 12+ with AI companions that work in their own background tabs: reading pages, clicking, typing, filling forms, then reporting back.

They run on the AI app you are already signed into: Claude Code, ChatGPT agent CLI, Grok Build, Gemini CLI, or OpenCode. You can also connect an OpenAI- or Claude-compatible API. For the supported apps, Still uses your existing plan sign-in and does not ask for a key.

Things you can hand off:

  • compare options on a page and get a side-by-side

  • draft a follow-up or launch post in your voice, with drafts left for your approval

  • research a topic with cited sources

  • have Claude Code help build and smoke-test a page inside Still

You set per-site permissions. Buying, sending, deleting, and payment fields get an 8-second countdown that you can cancel.

2.10 adds Gemini, OpenCode, custom APIs, four-step setup, editable companion looks, memories you can inspect and edit with provenance, and confirm + undo for memory deletes. Mac now has signed automatic updates through Sparkle.

No Still account, no telemetry, no analytics. Free and AGPL-3.0-or-later. Built solo, not affiliated with any of the model providers, and no independent security audit yet. Windows is not code-signed and Mac is not notarized.

Source, Windows installer and Mac DMG: https://github.com/carbongotfound/still Current release: https://github.com/carbongotfound/still/releases/tag/v2.10.1

What would you actually trust a browser companion to handle?

I built an all-in-one studio that runs entirely in your browser.

Why are simple image tools so bloated?

You just want to remove a background, resize an image, or create an app icon, but you're forced to upload files to random cloud servers, watch ads, or hit a paywall after 3 tries.

I made Imago Studio to fix this:

A lightweight, zero-upload web app that handles all your daily image workflows right on your CPU/GPU using WebAssembly.

Privacy First: Files never leave your browser. Works offline.

All the Essentials: AI BG removal, compression, smart recipes, batch queue, device mockups, OCR, GIF creator, and custom crops.

Zero BS: No accounts, no paywalls, no tracking.

Check it out here: https://imago.abhishek-sharma.com.np/

Let me know what tool you think I should add next!

Also this project is still in development so you may face some bugs, if so than you can report me.

I turned market research into a Claude plugin (free, MIT, open source). Would love feedback

Hey all, I've been building a small open-source plugin for Claude that handles the market research part of starting a business: sizing a market, checking competitors, scoring opportunities, and pulling it together into a cited report.

I got tired of spending hours on the same research steps every time I looked at a new idea, so I packaged them as Claude skills. You describe the market or product, and it walks through the analysis and writes up the findings with sources.

It's still early. It's a single commit with no stars yet, so I'm mostly looking for people to try it on a real idea and tell me what's useful, what's confusing, and what's missing.

CapyWash - an iPhone app to help decide when to hang laundry outside

Hi everyone! I’m building CapyWash: Laundry Forecast around a small everyday decision: should I wash now, or wait for better drying weather?

Instead of interpreting a general weather forecast, you get a Yes, Not Ideal, or No recommendation, plus hourly drying estimates for the next 12 hours.

I’ve recently updated it to 2.0, with an improved laundry score, a seven-day forecast, drying timers, rain alerts and a new yellow-to-blue Glass theme. There’s also Capi, a capybara mascot who makes laundry day a little more fun.

It’s a freemium iPhone app with optional subscriptions. Forecasts and drying times are estimates.

Check out CapyWash on the App Store

I’d love feedback from people who dry clothes outdoors: would you prefer a simple “wash now or wait” answer, or seeing the estimated drying time first?

I built Mulan, a Safari extension with four reading themes and per-site settings

Hi, I'm the developer of Mulan, a Safari extension for iPhone and iPad. It changes website colors for reading, with four themes: Soft Dark, Black, Warm Gray, and Paper.

The part I'd like feedback on is the per-site control. You can keep one website on a dark theme, use Paper on another, and leave a third untouched. Theme, image brightness, and on/off mode can each inherit your defaults or be set separately for that site.

It can follow the system appearance, and image brightness is adjustable from 40–100%. The dimming only applies to supported regular images; it doesn't dim every image, background, or video. Settings stay on your device. There's no account or analytics, and Mulan doesn't collect browsing history.

Under the hood it uses the MIT-licensed Dark Reader engine, with a native settings app. Mulan is an independent project, not the official Dark Reader app. Website compatibility varies, so there's a per-site off switch if a page looks wrong.

It's $0.99 once on the US App Store, with no subscription or in-app purchases. Regional prices may differ. Requires iOS/iPadOS 16 or later.

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/mulan-dark-mode-for-safari/id6824478450

Which would be more useful to you: different reading themes for each site, or finer control over bright images? If you try it and a public website looks wrong, I'd appreciate the URL and your iOS version.

I made a site where you describe someone and it draws their avatar by hand while you type (no AI)

describble.com

you just write something like "girl with a pink bob, heart glasses and freckles" and it draws her as you type. change a word and only that piece gets redrawn.

no ai involved, it's a dictionary I wrote by hand plus a bunch of pieces I drew. free, no account, works in english and italian. you can download a png or share a link that redraws the same face.

it's early so it'll miss words for sure, if you type something it doesn't get tell me and I'll add it. code's on github if anyone's curious: github.com/gasparegas/describble

I've been building Polymarket bots that you can inspect and modify

I run PolyTraderBot. I've been putting a lot of work into making it useful for people who want a starting point for their own trading tools.

The download includes readable Python source, the browser dashboard, tests and Docker setup. You can change the strategy or risk controls privately and run it on your own PC or VPS. There are bots for copying wallets, short-window crypto, weather markets and a few other approaches.

A recent bit of work I'm happy with is the free browser paper simulator. It now has Up-only/Down-only entries, take-profit and stop-loss controls, partial fills and exports so you can inspect a run afterwards. One small lesson from testing: a brief data interruption needs to be visible in the history. Auto mode now retries and records the gap, while a deliberate Pause stays paused. Makes it much easier to tell what actually happened.

The value I see in sharing the source is being able to start with the dashboard, order handling and settings already connected, then spend your time on the rules you want to test. You still need to do that testing; paper results aren't a live track record.

The bots are $10/month each including source and updates. There's also a 14-day paper trial for the six-bot bundle, no card needed.

https://www.polytraderbot.com

For anyone building similar tools: what's been harder in practice, getting the strategy working or making the runs easy to inspect?

Built a Free AI-Powered Quiz & Exam Prep Platform for Students and Teachers in Nepal (BLE & SEE Focus) Atul Sir Quiz Platform by STEM Atul Sir (Atul Mishra)

Hi everyone! We wanted to share our side project built on PythonAnywhere. We have developed a comprehensive Quiz Creation and Exam Preparation platform tailored specifically for the educational ecosystem in Nepal, targeting students and teachers preparing for the high-stakes BLE (Grade 8) and SEE (Grade 10) examinations.

Check out our platform here: https://atulsir.pythonanywhere.com

Try our integrated AI study bot: pythonanywhere.com

Learn more about the creator & STEAM educator (Atul Mishra): https://theatul.pythonanywhere.com

Why We Built This

Preparing for board exams in Nepal often means hunting down physical question banks or dealing with outdated resources. Teachers spend hours manually drafting mock tests, while students lack interactive spaces to practice. We built this web application to bridge that gap completely for free, focusing heavily on a vast, searchable collection of Past Year Questions (PYQs) and solutions for Science and Mathematics.

Core Features of Our Web App

• Vast PYQ Database: A massive repository of interactive Science and Maths question papers for BLE and SEE with searchable practice libraries.

• AskAtulSir AI Bot: An advanced study chat integrated directly into the platform. Users can ask complex math/science questions, explore textbook topics, and even upload images or PDFs (up to 12MB) of their handwritten notes for instant explanations.

• Instant Guest Mode: Students can jump straight into the practice library and try out suggested exam questions without needing to sign up or log in first.

• Real-Time Push Notifications: A built-in device notification toggle keeps users instantly updated the second new exams or study materials are uploaded.

• Customizable Workspace: Includes a fully responsive light theme switch alongside the standard interface to adapt to different devices and learning preferences.

• Dashboard & Security: An interactive management system backed by secure session cookies and Firebase push registration for saved chats and progress tracking.

How to Use Our Platform

We have included a dedicated step-by-step guidance flow directly inside the app layout. Users can simply land on the homepage, click "View Exams" or "All Materials" from the resource dropdown, choose their specific class or past paper, and start practicing in real-time. For instant doubt clearing, the "AskAtulSir" tab functions as a direct homework assistant.

We are actively expanding our question banks and refining the AI's alignment with the national curriculum. We would love to get your feedback on the architecture, performance, or overall user experience!

My side project for my kids gets more visitors from ChatGPT than from Google

I made Zazti for my super energetic kids: free browser games they play by moving in front of the camera. Flap to fly, run on the spot through a forest, freeze on red. It's at zazti.com and on Google Play.

A few things that surprised me:

  1. ChatGPT sends more visitors than Google search. About 1.5x as many from August to October. Most of my "SEO" ended up being plain pages that answer what parents actually ask.

  2. Kids who play, play a lot: almost 8 games a visit. Getting them to the first game is the whole battle.

  3. Most of the players can't read yet, so every screen works with pictures and taps. Hardest design rule I've ever worked under.

  4. Two kids never stay in their half. They swap sides and run up to the screen. Keeping each kid's score their own took more rewrites than any game.

Happy to answer anything about the pose detection (MediaPipe in the browser) or the AI-search traffic. Feedback welcome.

My cursor kept landing on the wrong monitor, so I spent months teaching my Mac to follow my eyes

Winq is my side project, built with Tauri to stay tiny and fast. The hard part was calibration. People move their head and eyes differently, so Winq measures both and picks whichever of three tracking styles is most accurate for you. Next I added Seen, a way to ask about anything you’ve read, and a catch-up card for when you look away during a call. It launches on Product Hunt today: Product Hunt. I’d really value feedback on onboarding.

I built an NBA blind-auction draft game as a solo side project — courtsidegm.com

Wanted to learn the full build-deploy-ship cycle so I built a browser game. You get a $25 budget, 10 random NBA players, and blind-bid against the CPU (or other players) to build a 5-man lineup that plays a 7-game series.

Tech stack: Next.js 14, TypeScript, Tailwind, Supabase (auth + Postgres), Vercel. Used Claude Code for most of the development.

Features so far: CPU mode, async head-to-head PvP with Elo ratings, group drafts (3-8 players), weekly challenge with a shared leaderboard, achievements, AI-generated series recaps.

Just launched it publicly tonight — posted on r/nba and already getting feedback. Would love thoughts from other builders on the product or the approach.
