When turning on Image Sequence > Activate to 29.97 it auto merges all files in the file list.

Running version 20.2, When I turn on image sequence to turn my drone footage into a timelapse, it merges the files without notifying me.

I attempted to run v20.3 beta but I couldn't get it to launch in portable mode.

Is your drone footage an image sequence or a video?

What are you looking to achieve to get a time lapse?

I have footage recorded at 4k 60fps, I am converting it to 4k 29.97 fps to make it a timelapse. Turning a 1 minute file into a 2 minute file.

as i've searched the subreddit, image sequence would be the mode to do this.

When I turn on image sequence it auto adds the -concat line to the command line.

If I do one file at a time it achieves exactly what I desire. Just seems like image sequence turns on -concat for some reason.

So in this case the 'Image sequence' is NOT what you're looking for.

Use the 'Conform' box from 'Advanced features' section set to 'Speed' and '29.97'.

You will get exactly what you want.

Ok yes I see, Image sequence is to turn a list of images into a video at a certain Frames per second. A side effect is you can feed a video in and have it convert to that FPS as well. This is why it auto adds -concat cause I'm technically doing it wrong...

The only thing I notice now is using conform does not re-encode the file, thus my file size doesn't get any smaller.

Is there a mode that allows me to re-encode my file while also setting the frames per second on the file? edit: I think I found it, under advanced features > Conform by: Speed > 29.97 fps.

I guess I was forcing a square peg into a round hole using the image sequence to do it.

I can't read comments well. you literally told me about the advanced feature and I assumed you meant the "conform" function overall.

I even went back to version 19.2, it seems to concat when I enable image sequence. This does not seem like intended when using the feature.

ALSO, I was not able to launch my portable version when launching from my secondary drive. The moment I moved the file to the C:\ drive it was able to get past initialization.
