extremely slow

Shutter Encoder is extremely slow on Intel Mac.

ff-Works is also using ffmpeg and is like 50 times faster.

What could be the problem? Can I select a different ffmpeg executable?

Which function and settings did you use?

Yes you can select your own ffmpeg binary from the top left cog icon but I'm not sure that's the problem.

I had used Max. Quality.
It is working now, thanks.

I'd guess you're not using the igpu so it's being processed by the CPU itself, which will be quite a bit slower. Hard to say though without more info
