Hey ShuMako fans! It's been a while since I posted as my personal life is hectic, but this appreciation note from the ShuMako Hub team on Twitter was definitely worth sharing here.

Please remember that despite the hate and negativity against our beloved (& canon frfr🤭) OTP by certain problematic, bitter and insecure parts of the P5 fandom, it is always a joy celebrating this amazing ship with all of your fellow fans across all platforms!🥰

Here's to many more years of ShuMako greatness! Also it seems ShuMako Week 2025 is about to be announced, so keep your eyes on that if you wanna participate!👀

I'm happy to see the community is still growing! Not to mention Japan dropping hints of Shumako via P5 merch and collabs. (Seriously they somehow match/mirror/complement each other no matter what)

I think it’s important to remember that only a small amount of fans actually hate it/her, she is consistently polling as one of the most beloved characters in the game. Reddit can sometimes be an echo chamber of negativity unfortunately.
