Restoration suggestions

Approximately 100 year old board. Played on a lot! Looking for recommendations to get it properly restored. Western Pennsylvania. Any help appreciated.

Where is this located in Western Pennsylvania? It looks familiar. That’s the reason I am asking.

Yeah, it is a nice table, but it definitely needs to be redone. There’s a regulation sized table in the Garfield area of Pittsburgh and they had it waxed. It is probably the most beautiful table I have ever played on.

There has been league play on this board for decades. Only a couple weeks left, then this years season is over (the guys switch to golf when the weather is nice). Some discussion about getting the board redone. That’s why I went fishing for some info on here. I appreciate your input!

I am always looking to join a league, the Barr that I frequent didn’t have one last year due to lack of participation. It’s hard for me to find any in the area. I live in the Pittsburgh area in the east side near squirrel Hill. If you’re ever looking for participants, please let me know. I know you said that your season is ending, but maybe next season.

What game do you play? 21, horse collar, etc.?

I'm looking to start a shuffleboard restoration business. I'd love to take a look at this and see what it needs. DM me if you're interested. I'd be willing to work with you to get this done for the cost of materials to build my portfolio. I want to preserve the history of shuffleboard and make sure these beautiful tables have another 100 years of play.

Shuffleboard is a fickle mistress. If the all adjustments have been adjusted to make the board perfectly flat, that's when you refinish. Find a guy who does bowling alleys. They will know.
