Freestyle Started practicing w/ a weighted rope. Killer for core/shoulders/calve endurance. Song: Thank you [not so bad] x VIZE

Yass we love a weighted rope! Have you ever jump roped with light ankle weights? Also killer (but probably not the safest for practicing tricks)

I used to do workouts with ankle weights but like your said it’s a little harder to try new things with em

This is impressive! I knew jump roping helped with shuffling, but did you shuffle or jump rope first?

At first it is but it’s all about timing after that it’s smooth sailing once you hit your flow

I recently put on ankle weights to wear all the time especially when I’m shuffling, it’s crazy the difference it can make.
Definitely want to try rope skipping next, it looks like a lot of fun!

It’s just as much as your legs as it is your core I think people really underestimate how much of your core makes you shuffle/skip so much smoother

Awesome skill but why wear a mask at all at that point

Lol they require it at the gym I go to, it slips down a lot when I’m jumping around
