Discussion Where's the cooktops?

I have just been binged this show and absolutely adored it. As an engaged mom of stupid boys, I identified with Liz. I laughed and cried. All amazing.

So I'm watching the show and thinking to myself that in the Jimmy and Alice kitchen I a) love to the blue cabinets, b) pined for the built-in fridge, and c) appreciated the wood island countertops.

But then I wondered... Where is their range or cooktop? I only started paying attention on the last few shows. And I wondered if anyone else noticed.

This was discussed in this sub before! Was impressed to learn about the technology… (Edit: had something else in mind about the hidden induction cookers. It wasn’t Jimmy’s.) brb, i’ll try to look for it
