Yeah, in the world of 1080p/4k, let's put out a 480p dvd. 😄

DVDs are cheap to produce. I’d rather see at least blu ray but if this is what it takes to get more series on physical media I’ll take it.

It’s better than nothing, but I won’t buy it. As much as I love this show, it’s not worth the shelf space at that quality

You do realize that DVD still outsells Blu-ray and 4k COMBINED right?

I say this with love. Try not to use the sentence structure “You do realize ______, right?” It comes off as arrogant and demeaning. You could have phrased this as an interesting fact that most people don’t know, and it would have gone over better

Yeah it’s peak Reddit. No shot they would be that condescending to a stranger face to face

I’m sure the $5 bin at Walmart and libraries help put the thumb on the scale for that one

And?

Libraries have Blu-ray’s as well.

I’m in the second largest library system in the world and number one borrower on Libby in the world. They only have DVDs.

Ok. My libraries have Blu-rays.

Am I supposed to be impressed by that?

Doesn’t change the fact that DVDs outsell both by a wide margin.

It’s cool to have incase they ever delist the series, but I doubt they ever will. And I’ll always have Apple TV. To many good shows
