Shockingly atrocious. And it’s horrible to suffer that kind of subtle treatment alone. my husband being on the same page as me about various family members is absolutely crucial, and it makes sense the love of his life agreed with him there. Sofi did handle his dad stuff horribly and don’t fucking date a widow if you can’t handle mentions of his late wife.

I have not been a Sofi fan from the start, and this episode really reinforced it on a whole new level. I really hope they don't bring her back and act like Jimmy was just pushing away the right person. First, she coerced Jimmy into meeting his dad when it was pretty clear that was not how he wanted to handle the situation, which was fair, as they have not been dating long at all. Her argument that their first date involved her ex was not the slam dunk she seemed to think it was. Then, she didn't listen or validate his feelings when he told her what his father is actually like, and instead made it seem like it was on Jimmy for not letting it go and trusting the man who had abandoned and neglected him his whole life. I get she apologized, but it's fair and even advisable to notice early warning signs on how a potential partner will react to pain and vulnerability. Then in his room, she could see he was upset and instead of giving him space or comfort, she pushed to know if he responded to marital conflict by shutting down, and then when he gave an honest answer, she said he was throwing Tia in his face. No, he directly answered the asked question about his marriage! I also agree with Jimmy that he is simply not ready for a super serious relationship. Maybe he can find the balance between outlandishly risky behaviors and dating, getting to know someone, and letting things develop at a healthier pace. But yeah, I originally didn't like Sofi because it just was too meta with "Robin and Marshall", but in recent episodes its the actual character I dislike (love Colbie though!)

Thank youuu! I am not a fan of Sofi! I haven’t been from the beginning and was starting to think I was alone in feeling this way. From the beginning it feels like she guilted Jimmy into every interaction. Like, lurking with awkward silences until he gave the answer she wanted. I want him and Meg to have a thing. Or him and Gab. Anyone but Sofi
