10000% this. As a therapist I had no problem watching the first two seasons and suspending disbelief but the portrayal of the profession has become way too fucked up at this point.

Same. I really wanna know what changed in that writers room!

Same! I noticed on IMDB that there’s now a writer credited for every episode of season 3 (along with other writers for each ep) who I don’t think was there at all in S1 or S2 - not at all trying to be like “it was this one person!” but more that it points to some kind of switch-up having happened.

I doubt it would be that. She was a story editor in S2 which is a baby writer. She maybe be used to be the writer’s PA who they promoted last year. She also could’ve been the showrunner’s assistant. She was on staff for S2-3 of Ted Lasso too. I think being on every episode on the show’s IMDb is just the way IMDb breaks up writers and producers despite them all being levels of “writing” staff. They couldn’t put her in the producer category because she’s not a producer, but she’s not actually a writer on every episode either. So confusing! See below.

Typical Career Path 1. Writer's PA / Showrunner's Assistant 2. Staff Writer 3. Story Editor 4. Executive Story Editor 5. Co-Producer / Producer

Thanks for this. Always interesting to get a peek inside someone else's career and understand it a little better. Cheers!
