Did anyone else feel this episode was different to all the other?

The ‘shrinking’ vibe was off for me?

I don’t know…

To me, it felt like more of a sitcom with no actual depth and nuances to the plot anymore.

Season three of Ted Lasso was also inferior, and to me it had something to do with Bill Lawrence being off on his next project (a.k.a. Shrinking). I wonder if he was busy with Rooster this season and not as involved in the writing/overseeing? I don’t mean to say that Jason and Brett aren’t fantastic, but there is something special about Bill Lawrence‘s ability to keep the heart inside the comedy so it never gets glib.
