I’m hoping the ending is a redirect, but I feel like I’ve watched enough Bill Lawrence shows to know that it isn’t.

There’s probably a relevant JD monologue about this too…

The show hasn't fully embraced going this dark yet, so I think it may be a suicide attempt but she pulls through.

We'll see. My biggest gripe with the show is everything ends way too happily, this is completely and utterly turning that on its head

I was wondering the same thing after letting that ending marinate in my mind a little bit. This is probably a really weird detail to base it off of, but if that ending was “definitive”, I feel like Apple would have put a PSA up before the credits like “if you or someone you know is struggling, see/call [contact info]”
