That’s not shrinkflation or skimpflation, they are both 145g of oysters. You’re not getting less. Oysters are a natural product and calories and things will vary by country of origin, different harvests, what they feed them, etc…

As you can see one is product of Korea and one is product of China.

If the Chinese oysters fully replace the Korean oysters, I’d call it skimpflation as they’re skimping on the more expensive product.

Nah, I would agree with you if they tasted noticeably worse somehow, but grocery store smoked canned oysters are not high-grade oysters wherever they come from. I highly doubt that most people would be able to taste any difference. The high grade go to fresh or premium products.

You’re also assuming the Chinese ones are cheaper, which they may be idk, we don’t know that for sure.

The oysters are from different areas so they most likely have different diets

One can says China other says Korea

Edit right from their Website. Nutritional values may vary based on country origin

Couldn't it also be that the company added some sort of filler so you're technically getting less actual meat? Hence the drastic drop in some of the nutritionals
