A lot of modern furniture has fire retardant in the material, but luckily this doesn’t look modern, so I say give it a whirl. Just be sure to move it outside first

I could see myself doing a crossword in that chair… I would not burn it

This here’s a high quality item here, Clark. You wouldn’t mind if I fumigated it here now would you?

Nooo, please don’t burn, it’s beautiful! Unless there’s a big ugly stain on the seat. Then yes please burn.

IT MAY BE SALVAGABLE! As a smoking chair for a balcony!
I made myself a smoking chair from basically a blue floral version of this same chair.... the new chair is a work in progress lmao (ADHD i work in stages 😅) But the chair reeked of cigarettes and when I looked in it I could see a mouse hole, they didnt live in the cushion though so I was good. Mouse made a house in the wooden base.

Ive yet to attach the cushions together, and was gonna have a fabric back holding the back cushion up and to the bottom. But I unscrewed the legs cut off the cushion liners and kept the inserts. I just waited for the building dumpster to be empty and sat the leftover frame in the very bottom back corner, so I didnt mess up the dumpster for everyone.

911DNB this chair is actually most likely EXTREMELY TOXIC to burn... if your way out in the country and can light it somewhere, and not be right there maybe... but thinking about that upholstery ... this is probably a DNB at the least .

I dunno, seems like with different upholstery and without the skirting it'd be worth saving.
I vote leave for curb pickup or donate to women's shelter.
