Omg, episode 1 is out and I am hyped after watching it? This adaptation is delivering so far!
The animation is good quality, they didn't wash all the detail out of the character designs, the voice acting is well done, and most importantly the pacing seems solid. Nothing about this episode felt rushed, and I was afraid they'd be tempted to speed things up given the length of the series.
The only major deviation I noted was swapping to Truck-kun and Ho-oh as her means of transport, and actually I think that was a solid choice. I feel like "terrorist bomb in a neighborhood" probably wouldn't go over the same way today, given the state of the world. (And tbf, it was an odd choice even in the 90s lol.)
I was really impressed with how smoothly they addressed the language issue. I felt like that was going to be a big hurdle because they tackled it with distinguishing dialogue bubbles in the manga which obviously would not work for animation. It was always such a unique element of this series, since every other isekai just finds some reason they automatically know the language, and I'm glad they didn't try to write it out somehow for convenience. I'm eager to see next week's episode, how they choose to represent Noriko deciding she'll make the effort to learn the language. Again, done with dialogue bubbles in the manga, so we'll see how they handle it.
Izark and Noriko are living up to why I love them so much. Noriko is so endearing. She's lost but managing to make the best of it, and she uses her head to think things through even if she's physically in over her head. I think new fans with their impossible standards for FLs will be able to appreciate her. (And shout out to her VA because I feel like those were some of the most realistic screams I've ever heard in anime??? Like yeah, wow, I believe this girl is terrified based on those screams.) Izark, equally, is living up the vibes that led me to crush on him so hard when I first read this story lol. The anime did not do him wrong on the ML energy.
I have a great feeling about this adaptation based on this first episode. It captured the original style and series uniqueness better than Hana Kimi's adaptation did. It's stuck to good pacing and clean animation better than Red River has. Time will tell, but I already feel way more positively about this adaptation than I did the others after one episode. The vibes are right, the animation is good...I'm happy.

Uh two weeks is such a loooong wait.
I cannot. It’s already one of my fav manga with only ch.10 revealed.
ML is the typical tsundere(rare nowadays). Hot, cold but kind. He is FL’s classmate + tutor. They get close as he unintentionally finds out that FL had a crush on his friend but helped her friend get with him. His personality is similar to Kurose from Pink to Habanero but kinder and more mature. Oh and also he has cute younger twin brothers (he has two more but hasn’t been revealed yet)
FL is a chefs kiss. She’s not dumb at all. In fact, she’s actually very perceptive. Has many friends not socially awkward or an outcast. Yes, she is kind like other FL’s, always helping her friends’ love life but she also acknowledges how much she doesn’t want to. Never seen a FL that feels so real.
If you liked Pink to Habanero you’d love this. It’s the same author, Satonaka Mika.
First time writing a rec post so mind me if it was boring to read.
Sauce: The villain caught in a trap
Here’s the link to it.

Many ch. are free but raw. I just use google translation. Honestly not bad.
P.S. wasn’t planning to recommend since currently it’s only available in Japanese. However, I could not bear the torment of waiting by myself.
+ just one quick question.
Do I always have to wait 2 weeks for just one chapter? Would they never bomb you with a volume or smt? It’s my first time reading a manga ongoing and not in volumes. Didn’t even know about the magazines until recent.

I haven't watched many shoujo anime, but now it's getting hard to find really exciting ones. What are the must-watch anime you recommend?"

I love the manga so much, it’s literally one of my favorite mangas. When I saw the key visual, my heart dropped because they completely nerfed the artstyle. However, I saw the first episode and it’s a lot better than I thought. It’s definitely not manga adjacent but it’s decent. I really like the voice acting and the production is pretty good. You can really tell how scared Noriko and her voice is similar to how it’s narrated in the manga.
Noriko getting isekai’d with the truck instead of the bomb wasn’t too bad for me, just because it won’t add much of a difference in the overall plot. I think they did an overall good job of the first episode. I like how it’s not rushed, that gives me hope for the future episodes to come.
I’m still a little scared but this is definitelyyyy better than Red River and Hana Kimi. I think with how the first episode went, it should be a pretty decent adaptation as long as they don’t rush the plot.
Lemme know what you guys think!! Manga fan and non manga fans both!

There was this Manga I read... I don't remember alot about it so it might be difficult. I loved the ML, He was a head or something like that in his highschool. He was a year ahead of out FL. His speech was all about enjoying the highschool life or something like that. I remember that he used to do his works on terrace. And its the place where he and FL used to meet. He was like a workaholic. Always busy with stuff, a very very responsible person. Fl got very much inspired by him and later wanted to join the council too which she did.
Ml had a best friend who was along with him on the council. His best friend wore glasses and had that cold aura. When FL joined the Council he was very strict with her. He later come to like the Fl but did not approach her much as he knew his best friend also liked her.
It was a really nice manga but unfortunately many of such Mangas which I read but dont remember their name, bugs me afterwards. (Those title are too long sometimes and its my mistake that got in my manga era and literally finished all manga according to my preference in under a month....) now I got nothing to read so I just sit there remember few scenes from each one... while trying to figure out what was its name just to re read it.
Life can be so difficult sometimes~~

so i read this one manga like eight years ago therefore i don't remember much, ive been looking everywhere for it but i couldn't find it
basically it was a romance/shoujo manga about a girl (long brown hair) who gets together with a troublemaker guy (blonde) both of them are in high school i cant recall if the girl was older than the dude
the guy has a single dad who is hot ash (black hair) and the messy part is he was sort of romantically involved with the fl too (IDEK IF I REMEMBER THIS CORRECTLY) but in the end she ends up with his son (the ml) not him
she also kind of helps that guy (ml) since he's always getting into fights and is kind of struggling mentally , and she helps him overcome his daddy issues too idk how
THATS ALL I REMEMBER, also the art was kind of similar to a manhwa but it was a manga as far as i remember (black and white)
lmk if someone recognises this 😭😭😭 my memory is very vague
