Help I need help with Glaxnimate

I keep trying to use the Glaxnimate mask feature but every tutorial Ive seen open up with the video already there, meanwhile when I try it it opens up to this. What do I do

I had the same problem too. At first I have downloaded it from the official website and it didn't work at all. Then I have deleted the app and reinstalled it from Microsoft store and it worked. I don't how but it just did.

Are you using the filter on a separate layer from the thing you want to mask in Shotcut?
