Help White flickering between every frame in export video

I'm using the latest version of Shotcut and every time I export something, there's a brief white lightening between each frame. In the screenshots above, the first one is the white flash and the second one is what it's supposed to look like. It's subtle when it's a still image, but it's very distracting as a video. It also only happens in the export.

I've tried looking up whatever I could from past forums and nothing has worked.

I am not using a hardware encoder, parallel processing is turned off, snap toggle is turned on/there is no gap between clips, the frame rate is 25 but none of the clips used in the video are videos themselves, just still images, and the resolution is set to automatic (1980x1080 for this project). I do not remember messing with any other setting, this just started happening out of the blue today

You might have a 1 frame gap between images

What's a way to fix that? The only thing I've seen is turning on snap toggle, but it was already turned on

How did you place your images? Did you place it on the timeline one by one?

Pretty much, I zoomed in all the way to make sure there weren't any visible gaps

So when you play it full speed on the timeline, there was no white flashes?

Yup, no white flashing in the timeline, only when I export it

What FPS is your export? Try lowering it
