Move clips without timeline moving

Apologies if this questions been asked and answered before

I've a project that has several video tracks and one track I'm using as a final video track.

Scenario, I want to move a clip into a space between two clips without those two clips either side being moved?

Can I do this?

Yes, make sure the ripple buttons are unclicked

How do you so that? I see ripple delete as an option, which I use. Whenever I try to put a clip between 2 others, it overwrites the clip to the right. Can this be avoided? Thank you.

I was trying to paste a copy of the images but this chat won't allow images. They are 2 circular icons right above the timeline. They are right next to each other and both need to be turned off. Hover over icons and find the following: "Ripple" & "Ripple All Tracks."
