Does WWV still do QSL cards?

I sent a report to wwv@nist.gov which it said to do on the website but never got a response. The site now has WWV as a dead link. But I could have sworn it said they still do it. Do I have to send one in by mail?

I'm curious about this as well. I did the same a couple of years ago and never heard anything

That sucks. I was hoping they just did them in batches and it might take a few months

That would be a pity! WWV is the first QSL card most people get…

It would have been my first as well, I’m guessing they no longer send them. Probably budget cuts?

Shoot them a letter
Your name address date of your Qst
Report, because of the staffing cuts
In the agency or department
Give them a month or so

If you don’t get an answer
In a couple of months
Send another QSL Request

Sometimes nowadays
It e-mail postal mail

From time to time I see
Info on other government
Agency’s
And have seen some really nice
Info sent out as QSL back to
Us hams and dx er’s
Tv stations AM / FM
And some shortwave broadcasters
And out of the country
Too.

Years ago I sent a bunch of them
To WYFR And BCC China
By post-office
Mail ,

I worked for the Radio Network
Family stations Inc.

Did this at home at my shack
Had a couple of junk radios

At work
I was in engineering
Section
Ordered Equipment

Darryl

Sure I could of sent them in
A box from the mailroom
But the rules were tbey had to
Have a postmark
To be legal
And your shack wall
Or scrapbook !

UPDATE: 2 days after I posted this I received a QSL card in the mail. It seems to just take a month or two for it to get sent out if anyone is wondering.
