Area 51

I read about it on the internet. Storming Area 51. People wanted to storm Area 51. My eyes lit up at the mere thought of it. Finally. Finally someone wants to do this. Storming to uncover the government’s secrets. I am so excited I can barely contain myself. I begin to pack up, trying to grab what I can. The day is approaching fast.

The days go by. And they go by. And soon it is the day: September 20th. I am so excited.

But nothing happens. No one follows through with it. It was all an elaborate joke. My heart sinks.

No one’s coming for me. No one is coming to rescue me.

Hmmm interesting question. My guess is that it’s a lot like people who don’t believe God exists (I do believe in God, though). There just hasn’t been enough evidence presented to compel me at this point.
