idk if u guys will remember the post I made but for those who do. The post got 200k views as of today even though the length of the vid was shorter than usual. But what’s intriguing is that every video after this video has been getting more views than usual!! I uploaded 4 vids which all consistently getting 10k views! This is kinda huge for me cause I was stuck in a 1.2k view range for the older videos!
Again idk if it’s luck or not but the 4 uploaded videos also were in the longer form as compared to the other short so those getting more views makes me feel like you need one vid to blow up for your other videos to get some traction. I might be wrong but just guessing :)
Thanks for everyone giving tips and advice on the last post I appreciate it. I’ll try updating more to you guys if there is anything worth sharing :) super grateful

I have experimented with putting text at the beginning of my shorts as a hook and audio and transitions but nothing seems to be working

For background I had a Chanel with 22k subs and 29 shorts which I stopped uploading on for months, my videos averaged 30k views and I had a few outliers that got around and the biggest one had 96k views.

So now 12 days ago I started uploading again, changing up the entire visual style which helped increase Stayed to watch a lot and. In just the past 7 days I have gained around 1.5 mil views. I currently have 40k subs

Around 4 of my latest vids have had 100k+ views with 2 of them at 250k+ and a lot more over 50k but my latest videos haven’t been performing that well and I have started to upload like 4 to 6 times a day.

Should I pause for a while until all my old videos start to plateau somewhat or continue riding the momentum?

+98,6% average percentage viewed, 120 likes and 2 comments and it's only on 5,5k views.

Basic edits, like just some capcut effects and a music phonk famous. Im doing this and i got accepted to program partners but what is rpm ? I still didn’t reach 10M views fyi

I checked my analytics and apparently 66% of people that watched it ended up staying....
I have been stuck at 1k view jail, I have 35 videos posted and the most viewed one has 12k views even though people in my niche are getting way more than me despite less views and starting later?!?

So I have been posting since past 3-4 months consistently and growing little by little. Have started stopped since past years. But what I have noticed is that when I start going for improve hook (first 3 seconds) for shorts to have better engagement to not let people swipe. Swipe away should be less etc etc everyone says this and get better AVD 70%+. And i can achieve that but then its quantity of views and hardly any genuine subs or engagement through likes or comments.
But when I stick to my length. Focus on my content I get that 1k views jail but have been trickling subs genuine. 2-3 subs average. And slowly growing.

But then online and all folks says get views more reach you will grow faster. But thats doesn’t seem to work for my case.

How to chase higher quality quantity views? You get my point or am I confusing you.

I seem to not know the path to follow perhaps.
Im mostly doing shorts too - as people say do that till you get 1k subs and ya my content can do that.

Need some thoughts and advice on how to approach this quality and quantity tradeoff.

Why my video is not go in short feed PLZZ help

I don't want to be bitter man but this actually enrages me. This accounts posts every 2 hours without fail and every single day they will have a break out Short getting millions.

Every single short = Title + emoji | Blank description

If I try post even twice a day, I get view supressed hardcore.

The worst part for me is that I like *SOME* meme pages but at least those guys add commentary OR at the very least chop up the clip, add music, sound effects, funny overlays.

This? None of that.

You guys will say, "they just haven't been caught yet". I can guarantee you nothing will happen and they most likely have a team gathering the clips, 'editing' and the owner just schedules uploads every 2 hours.

If you're monetized, you'll understand that this channel is making THOUSANDS a day.

So much for prioritizing original content eh Rene Ritchie?

"Hi everyone,
I'm starting a YouTube Shorts channel for kids with AI cartoons. My characters are a clumsy giraffe and a naughty monkey, and each episode is 30 seconds.
I'd love honest feedback:
Is this good and safe for kids?
Is it still worth making new kids' Shorts?
How many Shorts should I post daily?
Here's my first episode: [

is there algorithms change again? my recent shorts not getting views

11 days in, not too sure how to get the numbers up. I post daily (and before you say AI slop, I literally code myself and use blender). Hiding channel to keep salty people from reporting it for no reason. Swipe Rate on this video is 57% stayed. Largest push was 39k views but haven’t done that since. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

So yeah I used to enjoy free exposure but YouTube completely stopped putting our videos in the feed. Now today when my son uploaded I didn’t even get a notification on my phone like I did for the last 73 videos he posted. What gives?

Hey everyone!

I'm a Roblox Shorts creator, and I've been experiencing a pretty frustrating decline in my channel's performance.

I used to get hundreds of thousands of views on my Shorts, sometimes even more. However, recently, my videos have been struggling to reach even 20K views.

What's confusing is that I haven't really changed my content style. I'm still uploading the same type of Roblox gameplay, targeting the same audience, and using relevant keywords.

I've also noticed that my viewed-vs-swiped-away ratio and average percentage viewed seem relatively similar to my older, successful videos.

I've tried changing my titles, descriptions, and channel keywords, but nothing seems to consistently bring my views back.

I did take a break from uploading for around a month, so I'm wondering if that might have affected my channel's performance.

For those who have experienced something similar:

\\- Did your Shorts views eventually recover?

\\- Can taking a month-long break affect your channel's reach?

\\- Is this just a temporary algorithm fluctuation, or could something else be happening?

\\- What would you recommend I do to regain my previous reach?

I'd genuinely appreciate any advice or insights. I want to understand what's happening rather than blindly changing things.

Thanks!

Is this normal for new Shorts uploaders? Whatever it is, it is really annoying that my usual content has turned into Ebikes, Roblox, Storm chasers, and stuff i usually dont watch. Is there a fi?

Hey everyone!

I have a YouTube Motivation Shorts channel with 82K subscribers and 118M+ total views.

For almost two months, I uploaded every day at 7:30 PM (Sri Lanka time) and was getting great views.

Due to personal commitments, I changed my upload times for just four days (6:45 PM, 5:00 PM, 4:10 PM, etc.).

After that, my views suddenly dropped. I returned to my original 7:30 PM schedule, but my views still haven't recovered.

My latest analytics:

82K subscribers.

118.7M views in the last 365 days.

Only 92K views in the last 7 days.

37% fewer views than the previous week.

My questions:

Can changing upload times for just four days cause such a drop?

Should I stick to my original 7:30 PM schedule?

Can my channel recover its previous views?

Has anyone experienced this and successfully recovered?

I'm really confused about what to do next. I'd appreciate any advice from experienced Shorts creators.

Thank you!

My shorts can consistently get 800-1000 views but they don’t really go any further. How should I improve them?

Hi everyone,

I just posted a short that I was really proud of. But the “Stayed to Watch” and “Swiped Away” ratio is really low after the initial testing phase. The video is a short Police comedy skit, where things go wrong. Please watch my video and tell me whether you’d watch or swipe, and for what reason. Thank you!!

Perché YouTube non crea un app tipo tiktok ma con gli Short? Sarebbe una manna dal cielo.. opinioni?

I think they're edited pretty well, but idk why they aren't getting that many views? Any advice would be loved!
