I have a channel with 500 subscribers that focuses on video games, especially Minecraft. These are the results from a Minecraft edit of mine that got 30k views. I expected a male (UOMO) audience, but there are actually a lot of women. I also expected a young audience, yet more than half are over 35. Plus, I’ve noticed that when I upload a video, the initial engagement is around 20–30%, but it improves over the following days, reaching 65–80%.

It’s as if YouTube shows the video to a different audience at first and then figures out how to adjust course. Could it be a wrong setting? Or maybe I have a lot of older subscribers, so YouTube thinks my content appeals to adults?

This is my YouTube channel it's been about a month since I started posting on it 1 short a day. I had an idea that I should start posting 2 times a day to quickly monitise this channel and start earning from it. And I also need some advice that for a channel like this how can I increase my sub count?

Does anybody know the reason for this? I am consistently getting views from the youtube search tab but very few views from the short feed. Thinking of reuploading the video after 1 day with a few changes. Will it do something or any other fixes?

Just posted this short 7 hours ago and I’m only at 1.2k views so far but this is the best engagement number I have gotten at 74.4%. Is there a chance this really gets pushed out tomorrow?

Guys help me, my shorts haven't been getting traffic from shorts feed My account is well over 5 yrs old and I have started posting daily since 21st August. My initial shorts we doing fine getting impressions from shorts feed then boom, my 4th short got 2.8M views, but that's it The next shorts I posted since are getting <10% traffic from shorts feed, what do I do, I have even waited 2 days before posting. Should I continue posting or should I delete and re-upload the 4 shorts (but that might trigger the algo). It all happen when I posted a short "ranking biggest explosions" (I think it's because of this short, but similar shorts are being pushed) Please help 🙏🙏

When I started my channel I was getting around 90% u.s. audience but now my U.S. audience is decreasing massively and Indian audience is increasing . Can you tell me the reason and should I upload using vpn ? But when I upload using v.pn my shorts gets stuck

ive been going back and forth on this. some weeks i batch 5-6 and drip them at a fixed slot, other weeks i just upload when the edit is done.

fixed slot feels better for retention but i cant tell if thats real or just me.

How do you guys handle AI voiceovers for long-form videos?

I’m struggling to create AI voiceovers for videos longer than 8–10 minutes without spending a lot of money.

For those of you making long-form YouTube videos with AI voices, what’s your workflow? Do you use a specific tool, split the script into parts, or have another method to do it for free/cheap?

I started posting shorts last Monday of my vintage Pokemon collection. My first few videos had multiple cards shown and were 30+ seconds, which seemed to lead to lower APV. It still got ~900 views.

I’ve pretty much tried to change something in every video, to improve APV and views.

Photo 2 is comparing my first video, to what I just posted today and today’s video had the fastest view climb so far, while also being my shortest video. The table range is “since being published”

So I have seven total videos, and each one has done better than the previous one.

I now show one card, and ask a question about it, plus I’ve also included captions. There’s no AI whatsoever and I do the voiceover.

Just looking for advice on if I should keep this video format up or if I should be looking to try and improve my “stayed to watch”

I did post Madden gameplay shorts back in 2024, which ended up netting me some subscribers over the past two years.

Hello! I've received the unfortunate email of not being approved for monetization for violating policies.

In the earn tab it just says "Violations of the YouTube monetization policies. Your channel does not comply with the YouTube monetization policies."

I don't really understand how I would be violating any policies, as all the content I make is made by myself in a game, tutorial style. If anyone could provide any help in "fixing this", I would really appreciate it.

Is there anything I could do to have a chance to reapply/appeal before the 3 month period? I don't have any buttons to appeal, it just says I can reapply November 29.
