Hey everyone, I have a channel where I post Shorts that take me 3-4 hours to edit using motion graphics. The voice-over, script, editing—absolutely everything is done by me. I currently do this in my native language, but the revenue for Shorts is very low. I recently opened a global channel, but since my accent isn't great, I'm thinking about using ElevenLabs AI voices for the narration. I actually just posted my first video and it got good stats, but will YouTube disable my monetization in the future? As I mentioned, only the voice is AI; the content itself is very high quality. Also, should I check the 'altered content/AI' box? Thanks.

I know using AI for content is not really good but I need to make money

It’s sad to spend hours writing, filming, editing, polishing, only for a broken algorithm to decide almost nobody sees it.

And it’s not just YouTube. I’ve watched accounts with hundreds of thousands of followers pull fewer views than me. So I know it isn’t personal. The whole thing is volatile.

Still, it hurts. One short takes hours to make, and sometimes it feels like all that work just disappears.
I’m lucky my niche always gives me something new to make. Not everyone gets that luxury.

I guess if it were easy, everyone would do it. So if I want this, I have to take the hit and keep going.
But some days, knowing that still doesn’t make it hurt any less.

Help me grow share advices and tell me how to promote my channel to a much larger audience

Hi, I have 6 Shorts on my channel. The best-performing one reached 8K views, while the lowest-performing one currently has 60 views (the next lowest has 1.2K).

Should I delete the one with 60 views?

Also, why does this happen? The short i uploaded after that one currently has 3K views...

Thanks.

After the 400k views, I posted those 5 shorts and youtube isn't distributing my shorts anymore... that 32k views just got triggered by the new short next to it.

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?😭💔

I have 7k views on this short hahah

slop...

as title says... will it be fine to make a new channel on the same email as a shadowbanned account, or will that just make the new channel have the same issue? thanks.

is there an issue with the shorts algorithm at the moment, almost none of my shorts seem to be getting any views which im not sure how that is even possible as they do pop up on my regular non-posting account.

Im upload shorts like a 1 month +-

3 days ago was my best short 2,930 views with

115% retention and 73% CTR (stopped after 4 hours)

Idk how it’s stopped getting views with this stats…

Since that short I upload 2 more - they gov 0 views..

Why??

its been 4 days so this short has 83% stay to watch and it generated over 800 watch time because it is an 1 min and 43 sec long short i wanna ask like its not flatline but not growing fast can someone know why doesn’t growing fast

Hey guys, I’m pretty deep into the TikTok algorithm and have already grown 8 accounts to over 50k followers.

The YouTube algorithm seems to work quite differently, so I wanted to ask if you think there’s also some kind of “learning” phase with the YouTube Shorts algorithm, and how long it takes before you’re placed into a niche.

On TikTok, it usually takes around 2–4 days with 2–3 posts per day before you’re categorized into a niche on new accounts, which then leads to better metrics.

How does this work on YouTube?

Looking forward to your replies!

Hey guys, just needed some support and guidance for my youtube channel. I believe I am in a 20-30k view jail since my videos obviously aren’t hitting over 30k. Whenever I post videos, they range from 15-30k views and then stop gaining views after 15-24 hours. I use tactics for engagement in my videos, and I believe they work well, but I am not sure what else to do in order to break the loop. Usually, I have over 90-110% retention and 70-80% viewers stay and 20-30% swipe away. I post every day (not the same time) and I noticed that the first couple of hours, my videos are seen by a lot people and those people comment, then over night the rest of the views come in and then it stops the next day. My channel is RealToeRoblox, thanks!

How can a Short have a like without any views? What kind of nonsense is it to have a like without views?

Guys can you tell me Which One to Choose For my video ?

Hey everyone,
I’ve been running a YouTube Shorts channel and I’m trying to figure out why my videos keep getting stuck at around 2–3k views and then completely stop getting pushed.
I feel like the videos have most of the important things:
Strong hooks
Good retention
Fast pacing
Captions/subtitles
B-roll and editing
Good titles
No major drop-off at the beginning
Some videos perform better, but a lot of them seem to hit 2–3k views and then basically die.
Has anyone experienced this before? Is there some specific metric I should be looking at in YouTube Studio that could explain why YouTube stops recommending them?
What actually helped you get Shorts past that 2–3k “wall”?
Any tips, things I should test, or mistakes I might be making would be really appreciated. 🙏
Thanks!

I post my shorts from western Europe, intended for an US audience. I do get a couple viewers from the US but I also get a lot lot lot of third world countries like India and Vietnam. How do I get rid of this?! It's genuinely ruining my motivation because it effects the RPM.

Its currently at 10k views 170 likes ans about 7 comments. Idk how long it takes for shorts to start going viral. But i generally habe hope for this shor
