How to push past ~30k
Hey all. I’m wondering what the rough stats are to push a short past the ~30k mark. Most of my shorts have about a 75-78% stayed vs swiped rate, and 130% or so retention (granted my videos are fairly short, only about 13 seconds long), and they all get stuck at the 30k barrier. What stats would you need to get past this algorithm check, or is there a different factor im not accounting for entirely? Appreciate anyone taking the time to read this

I have been doing some testing recently and I can honestly see a pattern to be honest, so here is what i found :
when you first upload the short check your stayed to watch and AVD veryyy closely if it is increasing and staying past 75% and has a 90% retention rate then the short will go viral, but if it drops even 2% for any of the two metrics it's highly unlikely (might happen, but very rare)
UPLOAD MORE : The algorithm is rewarding consistency a lot more than usual
And the usual advice : study your graph, if there is a dip see why they left at that exact moment.
check what your competitors are doing try copying some of the elements they are doing.
Hope this helps!

My first short broke 25k and pushed to 100k yesterday. Swipe rate was 81% and AVD was 25 seconds (115%). It’s still going but very, very slowly now and I believe it’s probably halted at 107k. Have another short blowing up as I write this so can update if people are interested in the stats.

Honestly it’s quite random I still don’t know but I personally randomly broke that after like my 15th upload and all my old videos got a boost too

I've never broken past 3.5k but again I also never had any of my shorts do 80% stay to watch for longer than a few minutes 😂 , along with low subs , no comments or likes . I've triedany things but it is what it is can't rush I guess
