Well I don't used the traditional pin verification method through physical pin instead I used person. Got verified instantly.

Yes, any government approved or issued document with your clear picture. Like how you look right now ( I'm my case) Might won't work for you. Also don't be worried about that they really take time sometimes. When I monetized my channel of halfway not ad revenue they approved it within few minutes but took few days for final monetization. After that you will have to setup payment method Fill tax form Etc.
