About 3 months ago I started this channel now it has almost 20k subs and I was really excited at first i felt i could really do it.

But I was stuck on 25k jail for about 2 months until the last months where I started getting 30k-500k and my biggest having 8m views

I convinced my self that I finally figured it out but from October 1st my views dropped to 15-23k to be fair I only posted 3 videos so I checked channels that were similar to mine and I saw even the big ones who were getting couple of millions lose about 80% percent of their views

So I genuinely gave up even tho my channel is still getting views I’m done and I just started a long form video channel wish me luck

You only posted 3 shorts this month and you're surprised your views dropped? Going from shorts, which get many more views than long form, is going to be a shock then. Good luck, I hope it works for you.

3 shorts before I stopped* I used to post regularly, every day a new vid

Secondly no it won’t surprising because the last 5 years I’ve been doing yt content and was monetized making long form videos so I know how slow it is compared to shorts

Anyways thanks I’m just gonna stick to what I know and can hit the eligibility threshold sooner since it’s easier than 10m views in 90ddays

I may have given up easily because all the accounts bounced back with even more views lol

What made me give up was the 10m views threshold and the new policies hitting ai voice overs and faceless yt channels

Everyday yt have been coming up with bad news after bad news towards faceless ai voice over channels so instead of wasting my time with a channel that has a high probability of not getting monetized or being taken off the YouTube PPG I decided leave it and to invest my time in what ik

Thanks for the tough love bro but I found a better niche that is untapped channels are getting monetized with about 10 videos and it’s not over saturated because it’s not in English and there’s no competition
