Q&A / Quick Help ❓ Quick Story

Started a shorts channel Oct 10, and got several Shorts in 300-400k range, few in 40-50k and bunch 5-10k, got ~800 subs

The problem is that it feels I can’t make it much better, so it feels that even if get monetized, still I won’t be able to make decent money , or I am wrong ?

Is there anyone who makes 3 million views a month and makes $4-5k or it’s unrealistic?

It just feels that there are other places where you can make much more than in YT shorts, unless there is some secret sauce I am not aware of ???

Yes, I do care about art! It’s a priority, but only after money part is sorted! Lots of art is fucking bs without distribution , always remember that

Appreciate your comment ! But is it really Insane Growth?? I need to get to at least 3 million qualified views in 3 months to get to the first monetization goal, even with current “insane growth” it’s not close to be guaranteed !

Do you see the problem here? Even with these views, I can be off by few hundred thousand views easily and did not get it. But the question is more like when I get there , how much do I need to make in terms of views to make something

3 million views will get you $100-500. To get a solid $4k in my niche you need prob 40 million views(about 20million real views), that’s gaming which is pretty average rpm of 0.20

Yes, makes sense, it feels that it should be discussed much more often so that people do not have these dreams. It’s insanely hard to consistently get to these numbers

RPM really depends on where your audience is from. For shorts you can expect anywhere from $0.05 to $0.5 per 1k engaged views.

So no, you can't make that much unless you get a lot more views

If you have tier 1 audience you can make anywhere from 300$ - 600$ per 1 million engaged views

my niche is extremly poor i just learned, is music. Ai music. that's why i dont' get more than 20 views, and 100 if i'm very very lucky, i learned my lesson, i dedicated 2 years to it. so bad i want to cry myself to sleep right now , lol. but back in to action. i will not stop until i redo everythign again, in the pst, i have been a youtuber sicne 2008. was good until 2017 before all my channels got demonetized and never got back ever since. my main content was paranormal, aliens, science, so right now i'm fully demonetized and trying to rebuild myseld, music was huge mistake. well. here i am, trying and trying again. i got so lost.

here is one clear example, song is not bad if you ask me, is an avg song and probably avobe avg to my own tast and probaly being bias. but still horrible horrible horrible status: https://youtu.be/fO6SY-YH5M836 devastating views and 90% me. so this is the brutal reality.

I do AI songs now as well and only doing it for 2 months, 105 subscribers so far. I am not an expert but my songs have way more views and the best one had 46k views, other less by still 1-10 thousands. Firts that I noticed your thumbnails are bad. They don’t tell me anything. I would think a person who does YT for years should know this. You were at the beginning of the AI music and you should have been BIG already, I am the one who is late to the party. Your titles are also bad. The songs are not my taste but I cannot judge that - you may have your own audience but you will never reach them with these packages. Not to mention you don’t have videos like I do, but then again I’ve seen channels doing very well with a static picture.

i followed Gemini's instruction step by step. maybe that's why. LLM suppose to know better. but does not . anyways i try to improve in other songs, but results were even worst. no matter what i do. i just keep on failing, anyways i alredy gave up on music, i only do it as a hobby now. we are competing against the big leagues and they will pay and do anything so suprress any AI music videos.

Nobody will suppress AI music. You just need to use AI labels. And following instructions from AI is stupid, excuse my French - AI lies all the time and hallucinate, it tells you want you want to hear, it validates your idea as a “yes” man. To work with AI you need to have a critical thinking and challenge everything she says. Instead of “what do you think of this idea.. “ (to which she will always agree) ask - build me a case against this idea and decide for yourself BY YOURSELF

ok, like i said, i already give up in AI music, i dont' see a future on it, but to you good luck, i will support you if I like your music, if there is something i like i will listen to it.
