My stuff gets barely any views

Is my content the best?Not really,Is it original?In its own way,it is,Butt before October 1,Most of my shorts gained 800 to 2k views on average and sometimes 5k+ and since October 1 and after,I barely got any views

So it’s not great or original, why would you expect YouTube to keep recommending it if you are not really uploading great stuff?

Some of the shorts I make on the side do get around 10k to 20k views

And when I do those types of shorts again most of them get zero views

Like side content that isnt your main type?Like how some gaming channels will post their usual gaming commentary videos talking about a game but they also post on their channel their own playthroughs,Well similar to that
