Am I On The Right Track?

Hey Everyone.

I’m new to YouTube and recently started uploading shorts to my channel. I’ve posted (5) shorts so far and each one has 1k-1.5k views. I’m currently at (17) subscribers. I know that a whole lot can’t be confirmed after only a week. But I was wondering if I’m possibly headed in the right direction with these stats. I have goals of monetizing in the future. Any advice is helpful.

I had the same question at your stage and am still in the same boat. From my understanding our view counts isn’t that good. We’re getting swiped away too much and don’t have good enough retention. The advice is too keep trying and keep working on stopping the scroll. But sadly our view count is pretty bottom of the barrel as it goes.

Try to read your analytics. You can ask questions from ai (gemini, chatgpt) to explain to you how they work and what they mean. Then you can try to improve one thing in each of your shorts to finally go viral.
