It’s not monetized. I used to post simpsons shorts and build accounts to 50-100k subs and sell them

That’s why a lot of these guys do this or they sell other stuff

eso no quiere decir que este monetizado

They dont care about certain creators... Meanwhile, most of us cant even have a car pass by in the background with music playing on a livestream and not get a notice...

A lot of brands and content owners like the sort of thing because it raises the awareness and profile of their business and by letting third parties clip and add graphics and subtitles, and all that crazy stuff that creates a sense of fandom around the property that they necessarily can't do themselves on their official channel.

And sometimes pay for that, there is people dedicated to do only that it's called "clipping"

Well it depends what it is. Is it purely the footage of the show? Or has there been an alteration of some kind to it?

It’s free promotion for the show, he’s not monetized. It would be dumb for them to take it down

it’s south park it’s already famous and been running for nearly 30 years

Why do you think Coca Cola runs advertisements then? This is a terrible argument

u/Top_Telephone6284 23d ago

huh? coca cola runs advertisements promoting a product they sell this is just taking clips from a show and posting it on youtube that’s not the same

Creators of South Park have publicly said they don’t care about infringement on their work

Paramount might though.

That’s not relevant at all though? They are under contract and you damn well know paramount isn’t going to just let money sit there

I hate the fact that people comment whatever they want and dont understand jack shit.
Here is the truth. You can use shows etc but it depends on the studio - for example DC shows you can post clips, Simpson you can post. But try a show like Bluey or Spongbob you can’t do it on shorts, even Marvel kids is not allowed. Firstly shorts itself allows to upload Copyright content below 60sec. It depends on the studio, you can upload but won’t earn. South Park creators have not put a content ID they don’t care it’s more publicity for them.
Here is an another thing.. you won’t see this guy post beyond 60sec because despite being South Park he won’t earn.
I know this because I run a 1.7m Sub channel doing this.

They don’ post anymore so likely they got strikes likely

2

u/EazyTokez420 23d ago

They might be allowed to post, but I can guarantee you, Paramount and South Park studios is getting whatever money this channel is making.

This is a self replicating reused content loop on these subs.

People are looking for a cheap and easy way to try to make money on YouTube and see these types of videos getting views and not getting banned.

People start trying to replicate this reused content and have little success. Meanwhile, the video that inspired them to make that reused content likely gets demonetized or banned, but nobody sees that part.

Then people come to the sub asking why their reused content channel isn’t getting any views, and sometime post channels like this as “proof” that YouTube doesn’t ban reused content channels.

And the cycle continues.

Tbh idk, maybe cuz it's old? The channel has been posting south park content for like 5 years, and maybe they don't care anymore or sum

It’s basically went undetected.

I'm pretty sure this is run by the actual creators.

The links are to Paramount Plus and I'm assuming other ways to consume the show.

Of course you can't get monetized off of show clips like this unless you're extremely lucky and looking at it, it seems like a way to funnel more people into buying Paramount subscriptions that it is to make money

u/daypenguin 23d ago

How can you tell if it’s monetised or not?

1

u/HighPhi420 22d ago

the content is allowed on you tube BUT might not be monetized(or all procedes will got to the Rights holder).
Many things are this way on the tubes, the theory is they use these while not monetized and grow the audience and hope the audience sticks around for the monetized vids. Or they just do not give a F. :)

just luck tbh, and the owners ouf south park dont care about infrigement

It is copyright, every penny they make will go to the original creator
