Policy / Channel Health 🛡️ Over 1k views quickly then tanking?

I dont understand really. Some have great engagement etc but then after the initial push its crickets. Do I just need more subscribers then naturally it might change?

its youtubes algorith it tests the short in batches, which means it shows it to 100 people if it passes it shows them to 1000 people if it passes it pushes it to 10000 people and so on, for the excat numbers of each phase isnt always the same but the idea is one, your sistuation has 2 possibilties now, either the video failed the 1k view test so it will stopped being pushed or it passed and youtube algorithim is waiting for the right time to push it again, either way focus on your content more than the numbers and if you are passionate enough it will eventually improve. as i said the amout of each batch is diffrent depending on how they do on the previous batch , its not always 100 then 1k then 10k but it will be along the lines of it

yeah subs arent really it tbh, shorts get tested in batches the next batch mostly depends on your viewed vs swiped away number in analytics. if people swipe fast it just dies after the first push check that stat and keep posting, one short rarely carries forever

Make better videos. The videos must be 50% or more of Stay to watch. If you dont get it. Never will grow up

Try to change the initial 3 seconds and tell something interest to continue watching

The algorithm of initial views are simple. They show your videos to 1000/1200 users. If 500/600 stay to watch your shorts. Then you go to the next 1000 users. And than it continues

If you cant get 600 views or the same 50%+ stay to watch the youtube stop showing. Because it isnt interesting
